With throngs of bars, cafes, and restaurants, there’s no shortage of things to do in Holland Village. But if you’re in the mood for a cheap and cheerful drink after work, pop into these great bars in the neighbourhood to snap up their fantastic happy hour deals and drink promotions – and food too!
Wala Wala needs no introduction. The exceptional live music bar is constantly packed, and not just because of the awesome bands. Between 4pm and 9pm on weekdays (and 3pm to 9pm on weekends), you can grab a beer on tap, or vino if you prefer, with a considerable happy hour discount. After a couple of pints of Asahi have your tums rumbling, fill up with bar bites like the kielbasa sausage platter and a selection of pizzas.

The throngs of regulars can’t be wrong – this good-vibe-y chain of bars is popular for its affordable bar bites (get the wings!) and its fantastic one-for-one daily happy hour (from 5pm to 8pm) on beers, house spirits, and house wine. If you like your beers, it’s worth noting that the one-for-one happy hour includes Harry’s Premium Lager. The bar regularly screens sporting events too, so come by early to make sure you get a seat for the game.

Bar Bar Black Sheep
Out late? Hit up Bar Bar Black sheep after 10pm for their late-night happy hour. You’ll get a 4+1 bucket of Corona or Somersby cider for $39. More of a whisky connoisseur? You’ll get a hefty 20% discount of Hakushu single malt, and Hibiki harmony singly malt. To round things up, you’ll also get a selection of bar bites for just a dollar!

Tipples are always more fun with (affordable) food, so pay a visit to drinks&co. kitchen at Holland Village. Daily, from opening ’til 8pm (7pm on Friday), you’ll get draft beer at $9, a double G’Vine Gin & Fever Tree tonic (double) for $9, house wine at $7, and a bucket of five beers for $35. Also on the menu is a comprehensive selection of food that includes cold cuts and cheeses, homemade pizzas, tapas dishes, and grilled items.
