Sure, every couple has their own go-to places and regular things to do for date night at a romantic restaurant or bar. That’s why we’re letting you in on the most unique and romantic places in Singapore for a passionate rendezvous at nature parks, museums, hotels and more. Read on, lovers!
Romantic places in Singapore: For the outdoorsy couple
1. Macritchie Treetop Walk
Take your love to even greater heights with a hike up to Macritchie Treetop Walk. If you love a good hike, this is the place to be. This suspension bridge connects two of the highest points in Macritchie. It’ll take you about an hour to get there if you enter through Windsor Nature Park. But if you need an excuse to spend a little extra time with your beloved, go through Macritchie Reservoir Park for a slightly longer hike. Remember to snap some pics while you’re there!

2. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

If you’re a rugged couple who prefers the outdoors to stuffy museums, Singapore’s first wetland reserve might just be your thing. Home to myriad riverine species including water monitors, mudskippers and, if you’re really lucky (or unlucky), the ferocious estuarine crocodile, the nature spot is bound to offer you and your partner a truly memorable adventure.
Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, 301 Neo Tiew Crescent, Singapore 718925
3. Henderson Waves
Connecting Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park, Henderson Waves is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It’s also one of many gorgeous places in Singapore to catch a sunset! Its creative spiral structure reflects the colours of dusk charmingly.
4. Sisters’ Islands

Been all over Sentosa and Pulau Ubin? Visit Sisters’ Islands, two of Singapore’s Southern Islands. Apart from the interesting history, they’re popular with picnickers and campers seeking a quiet outdoor experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The serene beaches and warm blue waters with beautiful reefs and marine life are also a hit with snorkelers.
5. Science Centre Singapore
Nope, we’re not talking about exploring the exhibitions. It’s all about the starry night sky! Few things are dreamier than stargazing with your lover right next to you. If you’re up for an astrological date, head over to the Science Centre’s Observatory Deck. You can also look through the telescopes to see various objects in the sky.

8. Esplanade Roof Terrace
We love watching the world go by on any rooftop (bars and restaurants included). But the alfresco terrace at Esplanade is an underrated spot for a short escape from the frisky CBD. As one of the most no-frills romantic places in Singapore, here’s where you get unobstructed views of the iconic CBD skyline.

Animal lovers, this one’s for you. What’s a more wholesome date than interacting with adorable animals? And these aren’t your usual canine or feline variety. While it may be romantic to see the sunset from Mount Faber, it can also be as sweet to view the sunrise (a couple that wakes up early together, stays together)! Bring a lovely homemade breakfast to enjoy as the sun slowly rises. You’ll also get to see the city skyline gradually appearing across the horizon as it gets brighter at the top of the hill.
