We're spilling the tea on where to use your CDC vouchers beyond groceries and hawker centres, from pampering to pet treats.
“Can I use my CDC voucher?” I doe-eyedly ask as though I didn’t notice the iconic decal as I walked in. “Sure,” the cashier said, and just like that, I got a free massage in Singapore. Ah, the magic of the CDC vouchers! It’s that little thrill we all get when we get extra cash, courtesy of the government. With the recent rollout of $500 in May 2025 and another $300 coming in January 2026, there’s even more reason to get excited.
While most think of hawker centres and grocery runs, there are other cool ways to spend your CDC vouchers. Just remember to share it with the fam!
Your CDC Voucher just got a major upgrade: Unexpected ways to spend it in Singapore
1. Massages and TCM treatments
While not every massage parlour accepts CDC vouchers, many do, especially the neighbourhood gems and TCM clinics. You can even use them at some chiropractic and acupuncture clinics. If you’re staying in Ang Mo Kio, I used mine at Freeways Wellness Foot & Body Massage.
Where to find them: The official CDC Vouchers website has a searchable merchant list. Filter by “Health & Wellness” or simply type “massage” or “clinic” in the search bar. You’ll be surprised by the number of spots on the list.
2. Art supply stores, music studios, and craft workshops

Ever wanted to try pottery, learn a new instrument, or finally pick up that paintbrush? Now’s your chance! Many art supply stores, music shops, and even craft studios are accepting CDC vouchers. It’s time to invest in your creative self without breaking the bank.
Art supplies: Head to places like Art Friend (Bras Basah Complex or Clementi) for everything from paints to sketchbooks.
Music stores: Explore shops like Xin Yue Music Studio at Bras Basah Complex for guitar or vocal lessons. You can even try Ukulele Movement or Eight Tones Music School to pick up some new skills!
Craft workshops: Some independent studios offer workshops. Search the CDC merchant list for “craft” or “workshop.” For example, GentleHands Craft Candle Studio (Kreta Ayer Road) for candle-making.
3. Clothing alterations and shoe repairs

Who says government payouts can’t be fashionable? Many heartland fashion boutiques, tailor shops, and even shoe stores are part of the CDC voucher scheme. This is your cue to refresh your wardrobe, get that perfect custom-made outfit, or finally buy those stylish shoes you’ve been eyeing.
Where to find them: Check the CDC merchant list for “Fashion & Apparel” or “Services” or type “tailoring” in the search bar. Keep an eye out for smaller, independent boutiques, or even shoe repair shops like Heels & Shoes Workshop at Toa Payoh.
4. Pet shops and pet grooming services
Our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends deserve some love, too! Did you know that some pet supply stores and grooming services accept CDC vouchers? Treat your beloved companion to some new toys, premium food, or a much-needed pampering session.
Where to find them: Larger chains like Pet Lovers Centre (various locations) and smaller neighbourhood pet shops often accept CDC vouchers. Use the CDC merchant search and filter for “pet supplies” or “pet services.”
5. Home furnishing, hardware, electronics and lighting

Thinking of sprucing up your abode or fixing a broken phone? Your CDC vouchers might be able to help! Some neighbourhood hardware stores, lighting shops, home furnishing and furniture shops, and even smaller electrical appliance stores are on the list.
Where to find them: Search the CDC merchant list for “home & living” or specific categories like “hardware”, “electrical”, or “furniture.” You can find places like Meng Liang Furniture, A & K Electrical Hardware, or Hardware City. For phone repairs, look out for places like Mister Mobile or Sim Lim Square for repair kiosks.
6. Sports and hobbies

Want to try a new sport, get new gear, or pick up a unique hobby like fishing or model building? Some local sports shops, bicycle shops, aquarium shops, and even hobby stores accept CDC vouchers for equipment or certain programmes.
Where to find them: Look up retailers like Toh Aquarium (Kallang Bahru Ville) or specialised bicycle shops like Seng Bee Bicycle Shop (Upper Boon Keng Road).
7. Food and drinks beyond hawker fare
Yes, we all love our hawkers, but CDC vouchers can cover more! Think durian vendors, coconut dessert and drink stalls, and even those bubble tea cravings. Cafes like Cafe Wabi Sabi (Everton Park) and Cafe de Swan (Swan Lake Avenue) are also on the list.
Where to find them: Filter the CDC merchant list for “food and beverages” and “cafes” and explore beyond your usual.
8. Nail and hair salons

Yes, your favourite neighbourhood nail parlour or hair salon may very well be CDC-approved. Use your vouchers for a gelish mani, a foot spa, or a hair colour change.
Where to find them: Filter the CDC merchant list for “hair salon” or “nails” and for a little TLC.
9. Locksmiths
Lost a key or need a new one for your gym locker? Locksmiths and key duplication kiosks at MRT stations and neighbourhood malls are often on the CDC list.
Where to find them: Mobile kiosks outside MRT exits, especially in places like Yishun, Tampines, or Jurong East.
Now go forth, explore, and use your CDC vouchers for some unexpected joy! And if you stumble upon another brilliant way to spend them, don’t keep it a secret and share the love.
