Only five minutes walk from uber hip bars Potato Head and Ku De Ta lies Bodyworks – one of Bali’s most iconic beauty institutions. Still with great prices across their vast menu, a good rep from their high-quality service and a loyal following after almost two decades beautifying the neighbourhood, blissing out at Bodyworks is a holiday must-do. Got a hot date, even if it’s ‘me time’? Get prepped and polished to perfection at this triple threat – The Shampoo Lounge has a beauty salon, nail parlour and a massage spot under one roof. Sure, they have every form of nail colour and polish under the sun, but they offer beauty, waxing, massages, relaxation and hair services galore. Don’t let the crowds put you off, their service is fast, efficient and painless and their blissful treatments take you to another place. While body treatments start from IDR 180,000, we suggest splurging properly on the 90 minute 24k Gold Facial for pure indulgence (think of all that collagen plumping!). Their Hyaluronic Collagen Facial (IDR 750,000 for 90minutes) is also a a luxurious immersion into another world, with head to toe massaging for the full hour and a half.
