Angie’s Oyster Bar
This French-inspired oyster bar offers a seasonal selection of some of the freshest oysters from around the world at its raw seafood bar. Enjoy a half dozen oyster of the day platter for $23 or opt for the renowned Fine de Claire variety (pictured above) from Marenne, France. As a bonus to it’s impressive selection of oysters, diners will also enjoy the bar’s penthouse view of the CBD 45 floors above.

Inspired by a trip to the Hama Hama oyster farm in Washington, the owners of Humpback have taken it upon themselves to share the experience with Singaporean diners. This bastion of raw seafood only serves oysters sourced from farms in Washington, including the earthy Blue Pool oysters and the sweeter Kumamoto variety.

Dempsey Hill boasts a plethora of gourmet food offerings, but Culina stands out as the bistro for oyster lovers visiting this foodie enclave. Serving up a weekly selection of air-flown oysters, the menu is ever-changing and varied. But if available, spring for the plump French Gillardeau oyster; loved for its almost-crunchy texture and subtle hazelnut taste, this variety is consistently ranked one of France’s top three premium oysters.

A standout spot for oyster lovers on a budget is The Beacon at Marina Square. Pop by on Fridays between 5pm and 9pm, and you’ll enjoy a platter of five Coffin Bay oysters for just $5 with any drink order. The Beacon’s one-for-one happy hour on draft beers and house pours is just the cherry on top.

Umi+Vino Seafood Wine Bar
Emporium Shokuhin’s seafood and wine bar boasts a fine selection of oysters from around the world. Shucked only upon order and served au natural with a simple red wine shallot vinaigrette on the side, this is classic oyster territory at its finest. Pair your feast with a vintage sparkling wine like the Ferrari Brut Perle 2007.

Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chophouse
Founded by Boston’s culinary genius Travis Masiero, expect top-notch selections of oysters at this New York-styled restaurant. Sourced directly from Travis’s personal contacts along the eastern seaboard of America, you can be sure that the oyster selections here are some of the best you’ll find. Greenwood Fish Market and Bistro
Tucked away in Greenwood Avenue, this seafood specialty restaurant offers Bukit Timah residents an affordable selection of fresh oysters from Canada, Australia, France, and America. Here you’ll get to try rarities like the Tsarskaya Brittany oyster, unique for its firm, full texture and tannic, iodine finish.

Db Bistro & Oyster Bar
Daniel Boulud’s renowned db Bistro Moderne underwent a grand revamp and was reborn as db Bistro & Oyster Bar, a fancy dining establishment boasting stellar seafood creations and – best of all – a dazzling oyster bar as its centrepiece. The bar showcases a smorgasbord of the ocean’s freshest bounties, from Atlantic and Pacific Ocean-caught oysters, to Boston lobster and Alaskan king crab.
