What’s in the East Coast plan, you ask? Comedians! The funniest people in our city are bringing their best jokes to Joo Chiat at this regular Friday night series. Each show boasts a different host and line-up; past names that have hit the stage include local icons like Rishi Budhrani and Jinx Yeo. Pop by earlier for a drink before the performance kicks off at 8pm.

3. The Lemon Stand Comedy Club
Touted as Asia’s largest full-time comedy club, this new space at Bugis flings open its doors in July. Make a date with the club for its grand opening nights (from 14 July), where you’ll enjoy good food and drinks, as well as chuckle-worthy jokes from headliner Jinx Yeo. Also look forward to open mic nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for sharp zingers from fresh and familiar faces.
