Navy Day returns to honour the journey of our Navy and its legacy! This blast from the past comes with a 1960s-themed party, saluting the Navy’s past, present, and future at sea. Join the War at Sea tour which returns for Navy Day ($10 per person). You’ll learn all about the Japanese Occupation and even make a stop at Johore Battery to learn about Singapore’s pre-war defences. Catch chorale performances, learn about the women in the Navy, pick up a Remembrance and Reflection trail card to explore the history, and more! 2. No Sleep Club’s last day

After nearly nine years dishing out cocktails and pastas, No Sleep Club will be bidding farewell to its space in Keong Saik this Friday. This isn’t goodbye though! No Sleep Club will be moving to the second level and expanding its horizons with Third Floor Social at Design Orchard. For this week, long-term patrons and new guests alike can join the team for last orders on 30 April. Or say your goodbyes to level one on 1 May. It’s not all sad, because a moving party is happening at Third Floor Social on 2 May!

3. Blue Bottle’s first anniversary

Photo studio Say Chunkie is hosting its first-ever art market, and we already spy all things uniquely local! 5. Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay

Tulips are in full bloom at Gardens by the Bay this season as Tulipmania returns for its 12th edition. The exhibit is a tribute to the Netherlands’ artistic legacy, from Golden Age masterpieces of Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer to the modernism of Piet Mondrian. In collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, several tulip varieties will be on display in the Flower Dome. The highlight is the Tulipa ‘Kaki’, symbolising harmony, clarity, and friendship.
We’re excited to catch recreations of the Netherlands’ landmarks like the Rijksmuseum, filled with reproductions of celebrated artworks. This includes Rembrandt’s The Night Watch and Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. Be sure to step inside the De Kat windmill too! And don’t forget the display of charming KLM Delft Blue Houses.

This weekend, the city will be bursting to life with maritime-themed events celebrating Singapore’s heritage. All eyes are on Homeground @ ACM Green. The lawn of the Asian Civilisations Museum has been transformed into a one-stop hub, breathing life into Singapore’s maritime traditions with a central exhibition and weekend activities. Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is making its first Asia stop in our Lion City, and it’s set to be a dream for Minecraft fans in Singapore. 16. Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular

Do you hear the people sing? Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular is now in Singapore for its world tour’s final Asian stop. You’ll be wowed by new set and lighting designs that bring the production to life in an electrifying way. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for incredible performances by Singaporean artist Nathania Ong as Eponine and musical theatre icon Lea Salonga as Madame Thenardier.
We attended the gala premiere and thoroughly enjoyed the dazzling three-hour show, with its immersive backdrop enhancing the stellar vocals. However, don’t expect a full-fledged musical, as this is more of a concert starring the orchestra and huge screens on stage. Stripped of a traditional set, the cast delivers poignant emotion in every melody, from I Dreamed a Dream to One Day More.
While the music takes centre stage, the storytelling slips into the wings, so a quick refresher on Les Miserables won’t hurt. But if you’re here for the score alone, prepare to be swept away as the soundtrack soars to life.

This 24-foot-long truck has been converted into a full-blown gaming station, allowing fans of all ages to enter an interactive gaming space with comfy seating and even air conditioning. Simply register your name, and you’ll be in line for a quick 20-minute test session of Pokémon Pokopia!

This is not a drill! The Friends Experience is making its way to Singapore after popping up in the US, Europe, and Australia to much fanfare. Friends fans of all ages are welcome to get a peek at the making of the show, and replicas of costumes, props, and sets from iconic sitcom episodes. Between Monica’s kitchen and Central Perk, to the Friends’ fountain, and Joey and Chandler’s apartment, you’ll be stuck taking pictures all day long.
