Frequently Asked Questions
What is a ghost tour?
Ghost tours are guided experiences that'll take you to (supposedly) haunted spots in Singapore, and locales associated with ghost stories, local folklore, and the dark side of Singapore's history.
Are the tours scary?
It depends on the tour and your tolerance for spooky things. Most ghost tours focus on folklore and history. There are others that deliberately lean into paranormal exploration and are much creepier.
Do you actually see ghosts on ghost tours?
Not necessarily! Guides will usually tell you about their personal experiences, eyewitness accounts, and other unexplained encounters. Whether you actually see a ghost depends on how lucky (or unlucky) you are.
How long do tours typically last?
Most walking tours take around two to three hours to complete. Some experiences can run for longer depending on how long you linger in the area and how many locations you plan on visiting.
Are ghost tours suitable for children?
It depends on the tour and the child's age. Some tours take place late at night and might not be suitable for a child's sleep schedule. It also depends on the child's sensitivity to the dark and spooky stories.
