1. Lucia The Brownie Bar
Brownie lovers, make your way to Raffles City Shopping Centre, stat. Lucia The Brownie Bar (formerly Lucia Cakes) has opened a new store at this convenient city location and it’s the perfect excuse to get a bite. Specialising in fudgy, moist and decadent brownies, all its sweet treats are hand-made in small batches using quality ingredients.
Get a box of bite-sized brownies in your favourite flavour, or grab a box of four flavours for the perfect indulgence. We recommend the latter to try a variety of its delectable treats: the nutty box offers macadamia, Nutella, peanut butter and salted caramel brownies, while the non-nutty box stocks triple chocolate, Oreo, Biscoff and salted caramel bites. 2. Quan Shui Wet Market
Who knew wet markets could look so good? In 2023, we proudly welcomed this new unique shop in Singapore. Established in 1968, Quan Shui Wet Market was a labour of love created by a man with the aim of supporting his family of 11. Now, with over 50 years under its belt, the business has grown and expanded, overcoming Covid-19 through innovative business tactics. Its new flagship store is here to bring the old spirit of wet markets alive again with community, friendship, and nostalgia. 3. Rye
If you love the soft and timeless pieces from this Singapore-based womenswear label, we’re happy to report that it’s found a second home within the bustling neighbourhood of Joo Chiat. Putting a traditional shophouse through a meticulous transformation, Rye has put together a brand new space that blends art, craft, and fashion. 4. All Would Envy

5. Balmuda
For anyone who’s been eyeing the latest Balmuda oven to add to your kitchen, we have some fantastic news for you. Balmuda has opened its new shop in 2023 within Takashimaya Singapore. The brand is known for its innovative homeware products. What makes its oven innovative? It uses unique steam technology and precise temperature control that helps recreate the flavour of fresh bread. This nifty gadget is bound to take your toast game to the next level.

6. Happi Everton After
Happi Everton After is the result of collaborations between O Happi Place, Charlotte Grace Cakeshop, and YVS Flower Studio. This new event space in Everton Park brings together each owner’s speciality to create personalised and meaningful experiences. The gelato cafe was created with newlyweds in mind, serving as a cosy 30-pax solemnisation space complete with fresh blooms, cakes, and gelato. There are several packages available with additional services like photography and haircuts for the groom too.

7. Liv Activ
For anyone who’d like to get a kick start in their New Year’s resolutions (or just need an excuse to get some new atheleisure), we’ve got a new store for you. Stocked to the brim with multi-sport and lifestyle gear, Liv Activ has just opened its newest location at Raffles City Shopping Centre. Expect a thoughtfully curated collection of gear and accessories from worldwide sports and lifestyle brands. 8. Harnn
Born out of a heartfelt desire to enhance the way people care for themselves, Harnn has opened its first store in Singapore. The bodycare brand uses only natural ingredients and methods gathered from Thai artisans. It’s a harmonious blend of scents, calming visuals, and gentle ambient sounds.

9. Lego
Lego’s opened its new first ever travel retail shop in Singapore in 2023, and the retailtainment concept is here to wow us. The latest designs and retail experiences are designed to inspire creativity, and love, and encourage hands-on play. Both stores have uniquely Singaporean mosaic walls that feature the HSBC Rain Vortex (aka the tallest indoor waterfall in Singapore) created by Lego-certified professional Nicholas Foo. You can catch a glimpse of it the next time you’re in transit! You’re even invited to visit the store to customise your own Lego characters at the Lego Build A Minifigure stations.

10. Far East Flora Centre
We bet you’ve never seen a plant nursery quite like this. Far East Flora has taken things up a notch with its new shop in Singapore that opened in 2023. It spans over nine storeys, combining floriculture retail and lifestyle elements in one place. The centre is home to over a thousand varieties of flowers and plants, and that’s just the beginning. The building is also home to its premiere garden cafe F’east, while other floors showcase an extensive range of gardening products, fresh produce, and a variety of gift options. To all our plant enthusiasts, this is a spot you gotta visit more than once!

11. Coachtopia
Coachtopia is a retail experience, exhibition, and American cafe all nestled into a heritage shophouse within Keong Saik. It’s Coach’s sub-brand that focuses on circular fashion. The collaborative lab is a place for innovation where fashion evolves by rapidly prototyping new products, processes, and ideas. The apparel here is made with recycled materials and houses a community of designers, thinkers, makers, and consumers. If you aren’t stopping by for a bag, come for the coffee crafted in collaboration with Brawn & Brains.

12. Our Barehands
With a new shop in 2023, Our Barehands celebrates the opening of its second location in Singapore. This social enterprise bringing talents from India, Indonesia, Columbia and more to Singapore. You’ll find gorgeous linen clothes within the space. Each piece is lovingly handmade and produced in small quantities. And if you love the store’s warm vibes, we have some great news. 13. Cosmic Beauty Bar
A pet-friendly nail and lash salon? You’ve got our attention. Started by two beauty enthusiasts, you and your furry pals will be welcomed into a modern and whimsical space. 14. Qwerky Colour
If you haven’t already seen Qwerky Colour floating around TikTok, let us fill you in. It’s the latest non-damaging hair dye brand around the block. 15. Yumumu
We love seeing local brands take the next step in their journey with physical stores. Homegrown fashion label Yumumu now joins the ranks with its brand spanking new flagship store in Ann Siang. Designer Lu Yilin draws inspiration from her artistic instinct and transcultural background. The space is beautifully minimalistic. Each piece of furniture is carefully selected to complement the apparel alongside bits of art. For anyone looking to add that extra boost of confidence, Yumumu is the place to be. 16. Yogibo
We can’t be the only ones who have always wanted to have a bean bag in our homes to lounge our lazy Sundays away. Hailing from Israel, Yogibo was born out of a husband’s love for his pregnant wife. 18. DJI
As the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, we expect nothing but innovation from DJI. And we see plenty of that in its newest experience store located within Jewel Changi Airport. On top of showcasing its products, you can now test them out in two new interactive areas. The experimental zone highlights the latest innovation from DJI, while the learning zone will play host to workshops hosted by DJI. There’s even a fly zone at the South Gateway Garden where you can test out DJI drones for yourself!

19. Co Play
A home for artists in Singapore, Co Play opened in 2023 and is a new shop plus first-of-its-kind art space that celebrates local talents. 20. The Social Space
We’re huge fans of multi-concept social enterprise The Social Space. And if you’re like us, you’ll be excited to hear about its new home in Bugis. Moving from Marina One to Duo Galleria, the place retains everything you love about the brand. Pop by for a cup of coffee, open-faced toast or a smoothie bowl at the cafe.

22. Hysses: Heritage @ Haji
Homegrown aromatherapy brand Hysses celebrates a new milestone with its newest flagship store. Taking residence within Kampong Glam, the store strays from its usual shopping mall experience. You’ll find various cultural and educational touchpoints throughout the space. Start by admiring the world map of essential oils that shows you where the oils are sourced from. 23. Aura Prestige
On the lookout for your new signature scent? You might find it at Aura Prestige’s first shop-in-shop concept in Takashimaya. Just in time to celebrate G-Shock’s 40th anniversary, Casio is opening the doors to its flagship store. At the heart of it, you’ll find centrepieces created by local artists including a sculpture by Jahan Loh. The piece features a metal half-body bust fronted by the face of Casio’s iconic watch. If you haven’t heard of Graye, here’s a TLDR. It was started by Nafa degree scholar and designer Xie Qian Qian. Launched in 2016, it houses a collection of ready-to-wear men’s and unisex clothes. Graye is a huge champion of sustainability and inclusivity. Combining eastern and western elements, the clothes are functional and fashionable. From the kimono coats to Cupro tees, everything is designed in-house. The Wheelock Place location is uniquely crafted with its 3R concept in mind. 30. TA Community
As an extension to the Tied Alliance family, TA Community is a new retail shop and bar in Singapore. If you’re in the market for a housewarming gift, pop by to choose from an array of products. From home decor to baby wear, you’ll be able to dig out the perfect present. And after you’re done shopping, head to The Bar. It’s lush with emerald green and black accents giving a luxurious vibe coupled with delectable drinks and dishes. We kickstarted 2023 with a scented high at this new shop in Singapore! Swing by the new Maison Margiela Fragrances boutique at VivoCity. You’ll find a full line-up of iconic Replica perfumes. Then use your new eyewear to appreciate eccentric artwork. Think installations featuring ants, eyes and robots. They’re dispersed through the space to represent a new order of creation. 34. Irvins
Need to stock up on your favourite crispy fish skin treats? Check out three new Irvins outlets located at Bugis, VivoCity and Changi Airport. You can look forward to premium shopping experiences and dedicated sampling counters. You’ve got to taste its Dangerously Addictive range of products. We personally can’t get enough of the salted egg prawn rolls.

35. Bacha Coffee Changi Airport
The next time you’re on your way out of the country? Put this new shop on your must-visit list. Located at Terminal 3 of Changi Airport, this Bacha Coffee boutique outlet spans 7,000 square feet. It even sports magnificent illuminated glass arches that reveal a library of coffee canisters. Pick up packed coffees, flaky croissants and pound cakes. We’ve got our eyes on Expedition Coffee Collection. It’s a curated set of fine flavoured ground coffee packed into 150g canisters. It comes in two, four, or six coffees priced at $60, $110 and $160.
