5. Social Run & Ice Bath Rave

We heard about daytime raves and coffee raves, but how about an ice bath rave? Kodo and the Ice Bath Club are giving us a new reason to be up before 8am, and it’s definitely a fun one! You’ll be starting off with a 5km run (at 7:30 pace!) at East Coast Park. After working up a sweat, you’ll head back to the Ice Bath Club to dunk yourself in freezing water while DJs Phoeniks and Tsaiduck spin up some afro, tech house, and chill house beats. Your ticket gives you full access to the cold plunge, hot bath, sauna, and shower.

6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

If you’ve ever wanted to step into a giant fever dream fuelled by chocolate and childhood nostalgia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is your golden ticket. The musical is whimsical, wildly colourful and delightfully over-the-top, with dazzling sets, catchy tunes and enough theatrical magic to make you forget adulthood exists for two hours.
Willy Wonka and Charlie Bucket are the ultimate dynamic duo: one eccentric and mysterious, the other sweet and wide-eyed. Together, they carry the show with charm and heart. At the gala premiere, the cast was clearly having a blast, and so were we. Expect cheeky laughs, energetic performances, and visuals that look like a candy store that exploded into a confetti of fun.

For this month’s edition of Horatio’s Curious Companions, our fantastical traveller has invited Emerging Bartender of the Year 2025 of Bangkok, James Kamja. Bar manager of Lennon’s Bangkok, James, will be presenting a selection of drinks from his Bangkok Beats menu. Thai ingredients, classic dishes, and desserts are reinterpreted into a drinkable form. This collective has been taking over rooftops since 2024 with its pop-up parties that only the coolest people know about. Now, you’re one of them! This time, it’s taking over Nova’s sky-high roof. And we’re expecting it to be the party of the season.

Nutmeg & Clove is hosting its 12th annual Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta, and it’s one of the events in Singapore’s bar calendar. Who’s that Pokémon? It’s the Pokémon Pokopia truck! On the back of the game’s global launch, you can jump straight into the action and give Pokémon Pokopia a test run. This 24-foot-long truck has been converted into a full-blown gaming station, allowing fans of all ages to enter an interactive gaming space with comfy seating and even air conditioning. Simply register your name, and you’ll be in line for a quick 20-minute test session of Pokémon Pokopia!

12. Passion is Volcanic: Desire in Southeast Asian Art

2026 must be a year of firsts, because National Gallery Singapore is hosting its first-ever R18 exhibition! Passion is Volcanic features intimate presentations of over 70 artworks exploring desire, sexuality, and the human body. Each theme has shaped artistic practices and discourse in Southeast Asia, and you might be able to identify them if you look beyond the initial erotic displays. Due to the nature of this exhibit, photography is prohibited at the exhibition and age verification will be conducted at the door.
