2. Mirror & Vegan Concept

Having incorporated Italian flavours into their cuisine, Mirror & Vegan Concept is able to produce the most amazing creamy vegan risotto in town. Other than their famous risotto with truffle and asparagus, their fettuccine with four cheese is also a big hit.

3. Ma…and The Seeds of Life

Whoever told you that vegetarian meals are boring clearly haven’t had a colourful plate sit before their eyes. At Ma and the Seeds of Life, every combination of flavour and fresh ingredients will tantalise your taste buds, and the folks here have really mastered the art of plating. We love their avocado sushi with mango dipping sauce, zucchini noodles (zoodles), and roasted cauliflower steak topped with cream cheese. The desserts all have a beautiful touch of edible flowers (100 points for your Insta game!).

Tired of going to burger joints just to order the same old impossible meat burger? Most vegetarians couldn’t care less about meat-impersonation, and at Treehouse you can happily indulge in a true veggie delight when it comes to burgers. We recommend going for either the lunch or dinner set for the best deals of this temple food delicacy. Go for Chef Gu Jin Kwang’s Kong Guksu (noodle in cold white soybean soup) and the Amuse Bouche whilst pairing with Ironlak – a savoury cocktail inspired by street artists.

9. Woodlands

If you want a totally different take on vegetarian food, Indian cuisine is the one! Woodlands is the first Indian vegetarian restaurant to be established in Hong Kong and while similar counterparts are chain franchises, Woodlands is a stand-alone Hong Kong favourite. The rava masala dosa is a lot bigger than you think but worry not, one person alone can typically finish it. For an authentic and filling meal, we recommend going for one of the thalis on the menu.

14. Three Virtues Vegetarian Restaurant
You know the happy feeling when you know you can go all-out on every dish on the menu? It’s unparalleled at Three Virtues! The Buddhist restaurant does meat impersonation and also just full veggie dishes, the vegetarian dumplings (only available for lunch) are a must try, you won’t even think it’s not shrimp. We’re also guilty of ordering more than one plate of their chicken satay and braised bean curd sheet rolls. And did we mention the affordable price range? A total win!

Mana! (CLOSED)
Want to grab a healthy bite to-go? Then go for Mana! You can go for their signature flats or just customise your own on the spot, you can pick four toppings of your choice and add-ons. There are 30 different toppings to choose from and you can either go for a half-size or a full flatbread. Add in either a soup, drink, fries, or purple yams to make it into a combo-goodness.

Having been delivering cold pressed juices since 2011, Genie Juicery now also serves a wide range of vegetarian buddha bowls, salads and healthy snacks such as watermelon jerky and vegan Rocky Road. Our favourites include its Asian Invasion salad (refreshing and zesty!) and the wholesome veggie sushi.

Confusion Plant Based Kitchen has become one of our favourite vegetarian restaurants in Sheung Wan to get vegan comfort food. Their signature dishes include Mexican tofu tacos, the tofu steak with rice and the Hawaiian burger. Basically you won’t be disappointed by any of the items on their menu.
