Plant-based eating always gets a bad rep – but not in Hong Kong! Here are our top vegetarian restaurants, as voted by in-house herbivores and meat eaters.
Here’s a fun fact about me: I used to be vegan. While I’ve become more open to incorporating animal-based products into my diet, I still follow a pescatarian diet when I can. That said, I still remember the struggle of following a fully plant-based diet in Hong Kong a few years ago, which is why I’ve compiled a list of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in town that I wished/ knew had been in business at the time to make food choices easier for my fellow veggies. From vegan ramen and Indian paratha to fully plant-based cafes and even a fine dining option, here are the tastiest vegetarian restaurants you won’t want to miss!
