One-Ninety Restaurant is pulling out all the stops for its Father’s Day Sunday Brunch with over a hundred dishes (!!!) to choose from. On the menu you’ll find poached Maine lobster, Alaskan king crab, lamb chops, caviar, cheese, and an epicurean spread of desserts – there’ll even be a magnificent churros chocolate fountain as a centrepiece!

Angie’s Oyster Bar
Spend an indulgent afternoon with Dad at Angie’s Oyster Bar’s Snip N Slurp Oyster and Beer Festival, that will feature a selection of five oyster varieties and a line-up of rare craft beers from Lervig Brewery. The event will also feature a pairing session that will get diners acquainted with oyster styles and the background of each beer pairing. The Father’s Day festival will run from 12 to 17 June, and tickets are available for pre-purchase at $45++ or can be bought at the door for $55++.

The Carvery
If you’ve got yourself a carnivorously-inclined dad, indulge him with a veritable meat feast (topped off with free flow of Asahi Black) at The Carvery. The flawlessly prepared roast meat buffet is impeccably prepared in The Carvery’s new wood-fired Argentinian grill using mesquite and hickory wood for a distinct smokiness. The highlight of this feast, however, is the massive 30-day dry aged US Angus prime rib that’s slow-cooked and roasted over the Argentinian grill to a lovely medium rare – best enjoyed with just a sprinkle of truffle sea salt and of course, an ice-cold beer.

A stalward of Continental cuisine and expertly roasted steaks, Goodwood Park Hotel’s Gordon Grill has put together a five-course Father’s Day dinner that’s sure to impress. Start off with frehsly shucked oysters and Hokkaido scallops with mustard saffron sauce before moving on to more substantial mains – the white asparagus veloute with chicken breast and grated eff yolk, and of course, the US Beef tenderloin served with mashed potatoes, grilled broccolini, and natural jus. End things off on a sweet note with a classic chocolate mousse with Manuka honey chunks.
