The theme park’s new zone, created in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Creative, and Illumination, will transport guests into the world of Despicable Me and Minions movies. Expect exciting experiences like cool rides, themed dining, exclusive merch, and a show. Here’s a closer look at this new land.
Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore: A sneak peek
1. Gru’s Neighbourhood: Step into his iconic house and go on a wild adventure

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is the must-ride attraction in Minion Land, offering a thrilling motion-simulator experience. What’s it about? Well, the former supervillain has settled in the eponymous neighbourhood with his wife Lucy and adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes. But beneath their new home lies Gru’s secret laboratory, where the adventure begins. Guests are invited to take part in his latest scheme, an unpredictable journey through his lab, where they’re transformed into Minions.
2. Minute of Minion Mayhem Show: Street performance with high-energy dance moves
Look forward to watching the Minions and Gru’s girls take over the streets in an all-new show, Minute of Minion Mayhem. Expect to see fart guns! Catchy dance moves! A meet and greet at the end! Guests are in for an unforgettable time. P.S. If you can’t get enough of your favourite characters, additional meet and greet sessions will take place throughout the land.
3. Super Silly Fun Land: Play and have the time of your life at the carnival area

Across the street from Gru’s Neighbourhood, you’ll find a seaside carnival. Here’s where you can experience a Fun Day – similar to what Gru and the girls had – with the Minions joining in and sprinkling some mischievousness. We daresay this might be Minion Land’s largest and most happening area.
Look forward to Buggie Boogie, the first Minion-themed carousel at Universal Studios Singapore. Climb aboard space bugs and silly creatures and boogie to songs remixed by DJ Carl. Those with two left feet or who prefer something more adventurous can get on Silly Swirly, which spins and soars through the sky while offering panoramic views of the area and lagoon.

How about hitting up a fun game booth? Take on Space Killer, modelled after the arcade game in Despicable Me, and win prizes like Fluffy, Agnes’ plush unicorn. You can also try your hand at Ba-Na-Na CaBaNa and earn a reward from the Minions. Take a break from all the excitement by stopping by Pop-A-Nana for some Minion-inspired popcorn flavours to fill your stomach.
4. Super Hungry Food Stand: Refuel with tasty Minion-inspired dishes

By this point, we bet you’re feeling peckish after all the fun and games. It’s a good time to pop into the Super Hungry Food Stand, a larger-than-life replica of the waterfront snack stand, for a full meal.

What’s on the menu? Asian-inspired creations like Minion mantous served with chilli crab sauce, and Japanese curry chicken karaage rice with poached vegetables. Vegetarians and vegans can tuck into a vegan burger with a crunchy mushroom patty and guacamole. Don’t forget desserts! Choose between the rainbow cheesecake inspired by Fluffy or the creamy Tim Bear mousse cake.

That’s not all, folks! This area’s also brimming with classical carnival game kiosks like Balloon Dart, Lucky Ducky (similar to a card matching game where players pick two rubber ducks and see if the prizes match), and Down-a-Clown (knock down as many clowns as possible before time runs out).
5. Minion Marketplace: Shop ’til you drop

It’s time to shop to your heart’s content at this charming marketplace. Nip into the Fun Store to get your hands on accessories and toys, before you head to the Pop Store for the trendiest fashion items and styles – with a Minion twist!
Don’t forget to check out Sweet Surrender as well. The candy-themed store is stocked with Minion-themed apparel, homeware, confections, and fun souvenirs. Oh, there’s a giant jawbreaker vending machine too!

To mark the opening of Minion Land, Universal Studios Singapore is launching two limited edition, exclusive Super Silly Space Killer figures. Fans can go for the premium vinyl in an iridescent finish (only 100 pieces available) or the full-coloured vinyl figure (limited to 1,000 pieces).
Dropping on the same day is the Super Silly Fun Land Collection, which perfectly encapsulates the land’s vibrant carnival area. There are 15 items for grabs, including 3D mugs, blue bucket hats, and puzzle keychains. Keep a lookout for the Minion Sakura Collection, available in March 2025. The limited-edition merch, which includes apparel, accessories, and stationery, showcases the Minions enjoying the cherry blossom season.
