3. Save the date: ComplexCon 2025
21 – 23 March

Following a successful debut in Hong Kong in 2024, ComplexCon is returning to the city in March! Led by acclaimed visual artist Daniel Arsham, this year’s festival takes on a “future relics” aesthetic, a trademark of Arsham’s works. The artist has even playfully renamed the festival to ComplexCon 3025 to reflect its core theme while injecting projected nostalgia into the event’s iconic design.
Spanning across Halls 3, 6, 8 and 10 at the AsiaWold-Expo, Complex Marketplace will showcase a wide array of streetwear, art, and global pop-culture. Over at the AsiaWorld-Arena, the three-day concert series, Complex Live!, will also return with a star-studded line-up. Global sensation NJZ (formerly NewJeans) will headline the festival alongside hip-hip producer Metro Boomin, rapper and singer-songwriter Quavo, hip-hop and R&B artist Zico, and more. Tickets range from single-day tickets ($388) to three-day VIP tickets ($4,988) with priority access and exclusive merch.
Mark your calendars: tickets go on sale from 4pm on 10 February for HSBC credit card holders and HSBC Mastercard Debit cardholders, and from 4pm on 12 February for all.

5. Eat: Swiss Cheese Set Menu at Heimat

Your date is about to get a cheesy upgrade! Melt your date’s heart with Heimat’s new Swiss Cheese Set Menu (from $1,600 for two persons sharing), the perfect soul-warming treat for this romantic and wintry season. Available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until the end of March, the set features top-quality cheese from Jumi, an artisanal cheese maker since 1896.
You can take your pick between three kinds of traditional raclette (Classic, Morel and Porcini, or Chilli) to be served with boiled potatoes, pearl onions, and pickled gherkins. 7. Anime: Incubase Arena reopens in Mong Kok

Moving from its original location in Tsim Sha Tsui, Incubase Arena has reopened its doors in Mong Kok. This anime cultural experience hub occupies over 20,000 square feet, with the entire B2 level dedicated to exhibition space, and B1 featuring various facilities, such as an expanded Incushop of anime merchandise. Join the vibrant community at the pop-ups, card battle zones, capsule toy areas, personalised card machines, and photo booths. You’ll also find an F&B section with thematic food and drinks offerings. Currently, “Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition – Hong Kong” is hosting its first overseas showcase at Incubase Arena – head over before 16 March to immerse yourself in the world of this popular anime!

8. Things to do: Innerglow 2025

For two weeks, Tai Kwun’s historical facade is once again lighting up with stunning 3D mapped projection. This year’s Innerglow programme features a centrepiece crafted by local creative venture, The Electric Canvas, titled “Gardens of Reflection.” This thought-provoking installation explores Hong Kong’s literature, calligraphy, and nature by engaging traditional Chinese art forms in a dialogue with digital art. Also returning is Innerglow’s sister programme, Innerglow Searchlight, which spotlights young and rising talents in the city. Spanning over Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, city dwellers can look forward to a mesmerising spectacle at the heritage site.

9. Exhibition: Tonight with the Impressionists, Paris 1874 – An Immersive Expedition in Virtual Reality

The Hong Kong Design Institute is partnering with Musee de Orsay in Paris to give art lovers in Hong Kong a unique immersive experience. The latest exhibition, titled Tonight with the Impressionists, Paris 1874 – An Immersive Expedition in Virtual Reality, takes you back in time to explore the origins of Impressionism. This is not your ordinary digital exhibition; enhanced by VR technology, you’ll be personally strolling through the streets of 19th-century Paris as you explore studios of famed artists and photographers of the movement – a truly unmissable experience for any art enthusiasts.

10. Exhibition: Notre-Dame de Paris, The Augmented Exhibition

French cultural and educational organisation, Visionairs, is bringing a unique experience to Hong Kong audiences. Notre-Dame de Paris, The Augmented Exhibition blends immersive AR technology with artefacts to illustrate the cathedral’s 850-year history. Make your way to Art Park in West Kowloon and peek into time portals at different grand events happening at Notre-Dame as well as its restoration after the fire. Highlights of the exhibition include King Henri IV’s wedding, Napoleon Bonaparte’s coronation, and the construction of the Viollet-le-Duc spire.
