1. Popinjays: Spin Sum x Kulu Tokyo takeover

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind takeover at Popinjays! Spin Sum and Kulu Tokyo will be taking the stage at the rooftop bar, featuring Berlin-based headliner Joplyn for a genre-bending one-night-only performance that will leave you breathless.

2. Avoca: Asia’s 59 Best guest shifts

Gear up for a series of guest shifts at Avoca in anticipation of the Asia’s 50 Best Award Ceremony. Taking place over the next two weeks, Avoca will be hosting bars from Malaysia, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney. The week kicks off with Amanda Wan of Three X Co, who will be bringing her signature blend of classic technique and creative flair, followed by an Eight-hands Industry Cocktail event that brings together eight giants on the bar scene for an afternoon of excitement. The week continues with Winnie Wei of Sober Company, Shanghai and Nicolas Leone and Yong Wei of Analogue Initiative, before ending with Krisztian Csigo of Dean & Nancy on 22, Sydney.

3. M+: Canton Modern: Art and Visual Culture, 1900s–1970s

Here’s an exhibition for fellow arts and culture lovers. M+’s new exhibition showcases a series of Cantonese artworks and paraphernalia from the 1900s to 1970s, highlighting the period’s vibrant development in the arts and visual culture. The exhibition is curated from public and private collections, and presents a story of evolving individual and collective identities through an intriguing narrative of paintings, photographs, prints, and pictorial publications.

4. Art x Culture Central Fair

Attention, fellow cultural enthusiasts – one of Hong Kong’s oldest Chinese art bookshops, Tai Yip, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a unique arts and cultural fair! Building on the success of its Antiquarian Books and Prints Fair last year, Tai Yip will be expanding its collection beyond books, film posters, and vintage photography to include ink comics, animation celluloids, and tea appreciation displays. Don’t miss this special cultural showcase!

5. Lego: Summer of Play

7. British Council Bookshop Gallery: Moore’s Vision. More Revision.

The British Council is bringing a one-of-a-kind exhibition to local art connoisseurs. Moore’s Vision. More Revision. is the inaugural showcase of its Bookshop Gallery and showcases significant artworks by British sculptor Henry Moore alongside contemporary pieces by artists from Hong Kong and Taipei. Through this thoughtful juxtaposition, local and regional talents explore and reflect on Moore’s enduring influence in Hong Kong through artistic expression.

8. Tai Kwun Contemporary: Open the Box 2025: Bloom of Light

The second edition of Open the Box is returning to Tai Kwun Contemporary this summer, bringing pristine and exclusive gallery experiences to the public! Visitors aged five or above are invited to become the artist in this unique exhibition and craft with each other through an engaging interactive installation. No prior experience is required, and there is no wrong splash of paint here! Simply come prepared to indulge in fun and add to an ever-growing gallery space.
