Gents! In need of a spiffy suit that’s fit for a wedding? There are plenty of swish options on the racks in Singapore’s shops – but whether you’re a groom-to-be or a wedding guest, there’s no better way to look absolutely debonair than dressing up in a suit that’s tailored just for you from the collar right down to the button holes.
A favourite amongst sartorialist chaps, veteran tailor Kevin Seah offers the Savile Row experience right in Singapore. His bespoke suit atelier, a stately gentleman’s lair, offers a staggering array of fabrics sourced from notable mills around the world. Even if you’re not in the market for a custom-made suit, take your pick from dapper Gaziano & Girling shoes to ready-to-wear polo shirts, vintage cufflink, ties, belts, pocket squares – everything you’d need for a sharp outfit. Seah also keeps a lofty selection of cigars and whiskeys for his clients to enjoy during fittings. Don Draper would approve…

With over half a century in tailoring, it would be an understatement to say that Thomas Wong has an intimate understanding of the craft, from baste to blazer. His newly revitalised label, The Prestigious, comprises a team of LASALLE graduates personally led by Wong himself (he is also Lead Lecturer of the Men’s Fashion at the LASALLE College of the Arts). While designs by The Prestigious lean more towards the classic British look, Wong is open to more contemporary looks as well.
