Natural and organic skincare in Singapore
The Herb Farm: Natural skincare
The Herb Farm truly lives up to its name – many of its fresh ingredients are grown at founder Lynn Kirkland’s farm in New Zealand. Products are all made on-site, with pure herbal extracts, plant-derived and 100% natural ingredients. We can’t go a day without morning spritzes of the Rejuvenating Facial Toning Mist. It awakens skin, refreshes makeup and minimises the appearance of pores.
The Herb Farm, available online via Lazada and at Isetan Scotts
Kew Organics: Water-based and organic skincare
Touted as Singapore’s first ‘serious’ water-based organic skincare, Kew Organics is perfect for Singapore’s humidity. The range features facial oils, treatment essences, face mists, micellar water and balms that are packed with active botanicals and pH-balancing elements. Goodbye, dehydrated skin! Oh, and all products come in European Miron Violet Glass which retains the freshness of active ingredients in the formulas.
Kew Organics, available online and at multiple locations including Cluny Court and Clarke Quay Central
Sigi Skin: Vegan and superfood-based skincare
Local skincare brand Sigi Skin’s range is free of nasties like parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and phthalates. Packed with superfoods and antioxidants, the products also guard the skin against pollution and environmental stressors. Their road to clean beauty is serious business. In fact, they’ve even discontinued a product that contained honey.

Forest Rhapsody: Natural and plant-based skincare
Papaya, sea kelp, aloe vera – no, we’re not making a breakfast smoothie. These are some of the key ingredients used by SG-based label Forest Rhapsody. Using natural plant-based actives like fruit enzymes, flower acids and marine extracts, the skincare brand stays away from red flags like parabens, artificial colours and synthetic fragrances. Its range includes a flower acid resurfacing mask for exfoliation and a liquid silk elixir for hydration.
Also, it’s not the kind of ‘miracle skincare’ that produces instant results which fade away in time. Instead, these formulas go ‘low and slow’ and gradually work their magic to improve your skin. Psst: they’re also cruelty-free. And plus points to the recyclable glass jar and bottle packaging.
Forest Rhapsody, available online with free international shipping for orders over $100
