Playdate
This one isn’t a new launch per se. But we’ve just gotten wind that it’s back in stock and now ships to many more countries outside of the US, so let’s take a look. Playdate is a charming handheld game console that fits in your pocket. But what catches our attention is the little crank on the side. It functions like an analogue controller and is a pretty adorable addition. No worries if you find the screen too small either because with a simple mirroring app, you can cast the display on your computer. It comes with 24 free games, with a whole catalogue of games available for download at your fingertips. If you’re looking for a new hobby, you can also consider creating your own game to submit and share with the community!
