Cheak Singapore unveils a new space, making its full line-up of activewear available in stores for the first time.
Singapore activewear brand Cheak has expanded its footprint into Ion Orchard. Located at Basement 3 and spanning 893 sq ft, the boutique marks the first time a local athleisure brand debuts at the iconic mall, marking a major milestone for the label. I popped by to check it out myself, and the moment I stepped in, I was struck by how inviting the space felt. I couldn’t help but want to explore every corner.

Cheak, formerly known as Butter and sister brand to Love, Bonito, offers versatile and fashion-forward activewear that effortlessly transitions from studio sessions to everyday life. At its Ion Orchard boutique, you can experience the brand’s signature BaseFlex and CoolLuxe fabrics. My thoughts? They’re buttery-soft, stretchy and supportive for any move.
First impressions: Pilates princess assemble

The boutique’s minimalistic yet thoughtfully designed interior, soft lighting and “Pilates princess” vibes create an airy space that instantly feels welcoming. I had plenty of room to browse the full collection (previously limited to a small selection of items at Love, Bonito’s outlets), from the signature activewear pieces to the latest collaborations.
Browse through sports bras, leggings, shorts, Pilates socks, tote bags and even cosy loungewear. What I loved most was being able to feel the fabrics, try different cuts, and see how the pieces move on the body – something you just can’t experience online. Their bestsellers, like the Define Invisible Scrunch Shorts that hug in all the right places, and the Asymmetric and Piper Bras, are absolute must-haves for comfy, confidence-boosting workouts.
The pieces are crafted from different fabrics to suit various activity levels, from yoga and Pilates to strength training and spinning. While most are perfect for studio sessions, others, like the Polo Bra, work just as well for stylish everyday wear. Designed with thoughtful details like hidden elastic bands and the Invisible Scrunch that enhances your natural shape, Cheak’s activewear easily takes you from morning workouts to work meetings without the need for an outfit change.
As a Pilates girl, I’ve tried my fair share of activewear brands, and Cheak’s buttery-soft fabrics truly feel next-level. The tops are versatile enough to wear outside studio sessions without looking out of place, but it’s the cosy hoodie from the Birthday Collection that stole my heart. It’s practically a hug in fabric form, luxuriously smooth and warm. Honestly, I could nap in it all day.
Major love for the inclusive sizes

Inclusivity is clearly a priority for the brand. Sizes range from XXS to XXL, catering to a broad spectrum of body types. For petite frames like mine, Cheak’s cutting, intentionally designed for Asian women, is truly a game-changer. Leggings sit perfectly at the waist, fit comfortably along the hips and thighs, and require zero alterations.
Cheak is also gearing up for an exciting new Gifting Collection on 20 November 2025, with cute, must-see pieces. Keep an eye on its social media for updates!
In the meantime, you can grab a free pair of Pilates socks with purchases over $100 (6 – 15 November), a limited-edition tote (till 5 November), and up to 20% off signature items (until 15 November 2025).
The next time you’re shopping for activewear, step inside Cheak for comfy and versatile pieces.
