Aria’s seven-course New Year’s Eve Set Menu (from $1,688) features one-of-a-kind Italian delicacies using the premium Italian winter produce. The feast begins with L’Ostrica Di Benvenuto, which is an oyster with crème fraîche and caviar. Then, there are innovative dishes like Fegato D’Oca & Camomilla, which consists of foie gras terrine, strawberry, and chamomile; Astice Alle Castagne, which is a poached blue lobster with lobster bisque reduction, chestnut, and truffle; and more.

9. Soil to Soul

If you’d like to nourish your body and soul over the New Year, look no further than Soil to Soul. Inspired by traditional Korean temple food, this vegetarian restaurant is offering a variety of healthy and heartwarming specialties this season. We’d love to go for its special eight-course lunch menu (from $568) and ten-course dinner menu (from $998), both available from 13 December 2021 until 9 January 2022. There will be an array of winter favourites, ranging from Korean Ginseng and Chestnut Soup, to Korean Turnip Kimchi Dumpling and Veggie BiBimBap. You can also add a wine pairing to your meal ($298 for lunch; $498 for dinner), featuring a curated selection of wines and Korean Makgeolli rice wine.

10. DiVino

Celebrate 2022 with the DiVino Group’s authentic Italian cuisine! DiVino Wine Bar & Restaurant in Central will be hosting a Havana Night themed evening, featuring a Rhum Corner for the ultimate rum-based cocktail galore. A five-course dinner (from $788) is also offered, followed by some festive dancing to beats created by live DJs. As for DiVino Patio in Wan Chai, the restaurant is welcoming the new year with a Copacabana Night themed party, featuring a Mojito Bar. There’s also a five-course menu here (from $888), with Brazilian dishes which you can complement with a free-flow package. 11. Lobster Bar & Grill, Island Shangri-La

If you’re a fan of The Greatest Showman like we are, you’ve got to hit Lobster Bar & Grill at Island Shangri-La for New Year’s Eve 2021. Inspired by the movie, the NYE celebrations at the Hotel carry the theme ‘Magical Theatre’ this year, with its highlight being at Lobster Bar & Grill. For one night only on 31 December, the restaurant will be taking over the rooftop (as well as having special NYE arrangements on Level 6). Dig into a sumptuous four-course dinner from 6:30 to 9:30pm while enjoying live band performances and stunning views of the Victoria Harbour. In addition, the rooftop will be the host to Island Shangri-La’s exciting Countdown Party from 10pm to 1am, offering free-flow champagne, red, and white wines. So, be sure to stay on after your meal!

12. Porterhouse Seafood & Steak

In search of a restaurant to dine at before hitting the New Year’s Eve parties in LKF? Head to Porterhouse Seafood & Steak for some surf and turf on 31 December 2021. The six-course New Year’s Eve Set Dinner (from $988) features scrumptious dishes like Bone Marrow with beef rillette and caviar; Lobster Cappuccino topped with shaved truffle; Braised Oxtail Raviolo served in oxtail jus and garnished with celery root puree; Shepherd’s Pride Lamb Saddle served with mushroom puree, roasted topinambur, and fondant potatoes; and a Thousand Truffle Pancake with Piedmont hazelnut cream, garnished with fresh winter truffle, as a sweet finish.

13. Tokyolima

For New Year’s Eve 2021, the Japanese-Peruvian restaurant is presenting an NYE Tasting Menu with two seatings: the first one from 6 to 8pm ($720) and the second from 8:30pm onwards ($880). The multi-course menu is a showcase of some of Tokyolima’s signature plates, as well as festive specialties. The meal begins with small plates through to raw dishes for sharing, such as the refreshing Tuna & Watermelon Tartare. Mains differ between the two seatings, with the second offering the decadent Lobster Acevichada. End your meal with the Oye Papi…!, which is a dessert made with chocolate mousse, brownie, coconut tuile, chocolate sauce, and coconut ice cream. Don’t forget to add on the free-flow!

14. La Rambla

On 31 December 2021, La Rambla is offering a New Year’s Eve Dinner (from $1,200) which features indulgent dishes, such as Caviar Baeri with brioche bread, butter, and crème fraîche; Foie Gras Mi-cuit with cava gelatine and strawberries; Boston Lobster Paella with clams, squid, and mussels; and more. Moreover, on the following day, the restaurant is also hosting a New Year’s Day Brunch (from $780). Apart from having mains like steak, lobster, and sea bass served directly to your table, you’ll be able to enjoy unlimited tapas, made-to-order paellas, and delectable Spanish desserts. 15. Candour: The Candour Gala

Fancy having a bite before getting down to party? Start early at Candour with its three-course set menu, available between 6 and 9pm on New Year’s Eve. There will be several dishes to share, including the Festive Salad, Octopus Croquettes with Wasabi Mayonnaise, and the Beef Birria Tacos. As for the mains, you can choose between the Cotoletta Milanese, Salmon Fillet with a mixed berry compote, or Sweet Garlic Roasted Cauliflower, all served with a garlic miso potato mousseline and fresh tomato salad. Wrap up the meal with the Leite Frito, a fried milk pudding topped with dulce de leche.

16. Foxglove: No Time To Die

17. Uma Nota: Réveillon

Ring in the new year at Uma Nota with the Brazilian motto of Ano Novo, Vida Nova, meaning “New Year, New Life”. The Réveillon menu features a selection of festive favourites like the Robalo e açai, crab hand roll, and dishes from the Christmas menu like grilled scallops and beef skewers. 18. Café Claudel
Café Claudel has teamed with Bollinger Champagne this New Year and invites you to escape the city and head to the Alps for an immersive après ski themed experience. Through February 2022, the terrace will be transformed into a wintery alpine spectacular with a wooden bar and ski slope signage.
