Strictly limited to natural Christmas trees (no poinsettias, Honeys!), the programme sees the EPD collecting the trees via a contractor to then recycle the trees into useful materials. The easiest and cheapest way to participate in this scheme is to bring your natural Christmas tree anytime between 3 and 7 January to one of the many collection points and recycling stations set up across Hong Kong. Remember to remove all the ornaments, decorations, and tree stands beforehand. Upon drop-off, recyclers will receive an e-certificate – and a great sense of satisfaction, knowing you’ve done a good deed for the planet!

2. Christmas Tree Hong Kong
