1. IFC Mall: SnowPark

Get ready for a white Christmas this year as IFC Mall’s oval atrium is transformed into a winter wonderland. Inspired by European ski resorts, the installation features seven checkpoints with interactive activities. After creating a digital Explorer Pass, guests can enter a 8.5-metre Christmas tree on a ski lift to begin exploring. You can then check out fantastic photo ops, featuring a makeshift winter cabin and a traditional wooden sled. However, the full experience of the SnowPark won’t be complete without a visit to the immersive multimedia interactive zones! First, inside the giant Christmas tree, a Snowiverse awaits as projections bring you into a stunning snowscape. Next, engage in the Ice Fishing Challenge game to put your skills to the test. The most intense zone brings the Let’s Ski Experience, where you can experience the full rush of skiing on a snowy mountain. 2. Festival Walk: 25th Anniversary “Walk with Me” Christmas Art Project

Make a beeline for Festival Walk’s 25th anniversary “Walk with Me” Christmas art project. In an eco-conscious collab with local and Thai artists, the mall has transformed 10 tons of recycled metals and wood into megascale sustainable installations. We’re talking about a 15-metre Christmas treehouse, glass cottage, adorable mushrooms, and wooden puppets, all giving sustainable and fantastical holiday magic! 3. Airside: Christmas Winter Voyage & Blutopia

We’re diving into a deep sea fantasy this Christmas at Airside’s “Winter Voyage”! Since its debut in September 2023, this new hub has embraced art, culture, and sustainability. Get ready for marine magic with Blutopia – the world’s first digital aquarium by local non-profit A.L.A.N. Encompassing a massive 3,000 square feet, this multi-sensory underwater journey blends immersive installations in collaboration with international artists, using real marine research data. Adding to the festive wonder is the five-metre “Snowflake Rhapsody” sculpture, made with recycled plastic, leading to an interactive deep sea experience that inspires ocean conservation.

4. Citywalk: Christmas Village

Venture into a picture-perfect European town this holiday season at Citywalk’s Christmas Village. Until 1 January, guests can seize amazing photo ops and enjoy funtastic Christmas experiences. The 12-metre Christmas tree will be on display at the piazza while just on the floor above, an open-air corridor will be lined with LED trees for another spectacular Instagrammable moment. Meanwhile, the event hall of Citywalk will be transformed into a little European village, complete with a miniature steam train. Little ones can also expect several fun interactive games amongst the wintry decorations. Furthermore, a unique model train exhibition will be staged in the Christmas Village, displaying over 30 iconic models of trains running on tracks. In search of last-minute gifts? Look no further than the pop-up model train store, while your eager children can learn about the STEM principles behind model trains during workshops held every Sunday.

5. Citygate Outlets: Smurf’s Up Christmas

Did you know that this holiday season also coincides with the 65th birthday of the beloved Belgian comic series, The Smurfs? Citygate Outlets is making this Christmas a Smurf one, with its Smurf’s Up Christmas experience that’ll take over the mall until 1 January. Expect a four-metre Smurf X, an eight-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree, an immersive Mystery Aurora Blue Mushroom House, and many interactive games. Don’t forget to have your cameras ready for festive shots with these blue creatures as exclusive meet-and-greets with the characters will also be held. Throughout the mall, you can pose with the giant Smurf installations and play the seven-metre Evil Wizard Gargame. Enjoy Smurfmas with Citygate Outlets and delight little ones with some blue hijinks!

6. Pacific Place: A Fairytale Christmas

Faires, forest creatures, and Santa Claus await you at “A Fairytale Christmas” at Pacific Place! This trendy mall will be transformed into a winter wonderland until 2 January. Adding to the glowing mushrooms, luminous flowers, and twinkling lights, the enchanted Christmas forest display will have an hourly light show by the fairies to entertain shoppers. Later, you can head up to Santa’s Grove to meet the Man in Red himself and take a photo keepsake. At Santa’s place, you and your little ones can sign up for workshops at Gifts of the Forest to craft your own festive mementos, such as Snowdrop Lamps, Fairy Wreaths, and Mushroom Terrariums. Kids can even solve festive riddles at the Kids Activation area by helping the fairies in an immersive adventure. All proceeds from workshop tickets go towards Operation Santa Claus, so that you can share the love and joy with those in need this Christmas and beyond.

7. SPCA: Seaside Pet Chill Christmas Carnival

When we first caught wind of the Seaside Pet Chill Christmas Carnival at the HarbourChill in Wan Chai, happening from 16 to 26 December, we just knew this festive affair was not to be missed. Spanning nearly 3,000 square metres along the iconic Victoria Harbour, this paw-some carnival by the SPCA is a veritable winter wonderland for pets and their owners. We simply adore the eight-metre-tall Christmas tree and picture-perfect snow globe, perfect for capturing Instagrammable holiday moments with your furry BFFs. With over 40 stalls of delicious cuisine, wine, and lifestyle treats, you and your pooch will be spoiled for choice. Let your pets dash freely at the dog agility area while you browse the stalls brimming with pet products and paw-some SPCA merchandise. 8. The Hari: Christmas at the Hari

Throughout the month of December, festive hotel guests can enjoy a special promotion by The Hari. 9. Landmark: Mount Santa Paws

Landmark Atrium is getting a Christmas makeover! Discover the tale of the little mouse Emma, Santa Paws, and a community of over 115 festive animal friends as they journey to catch the Wishing Star. These band of creatures will be having their adventure at Mount Snowy Paws – the giant polar bear snowy mountain that’ll be set up at Landmark Atrium. Until 1 January, over 10 exciting installations will be set against the backdrop of a ski-themed winter wonderland. Shoppers can purchase tickets to visit the Santa Paws Ski Chalet to take photos with Emma and the Santa Paws friends, before hopping on the Snowy Sled Slide or Timmy’s Ski Adventure for immersive experiences. Landmark will be supporting charities like the Changing Young Lives Foundation, Mindset, and the We R Family Foundation to spread the festive spirit of giving across Hong Kong.

10. T.O.P X Tony Electronic: Ryan Animal Twins Christmas Migration

T.O.P is giving major holiday magic, Honeys! Local illustrator and inventor Tony Electronic is collaborating with T.O.P for the first time on an ahh-dorable Christmas campaign. Until 14 January, Tony is leading a squad of Ryan Animal baby twins on a migration to Twins-Land for the holidays. With the help of new characters Ryan Snowman and Ryan Santa Look, this move is set to be the jolliest joint ever! For Christmas, the mall is turning into a wonderland filled with super cute baby animals, perfect for snapping pics at the themed photo spots. 11. Elements: Merry Dreamscape – The Gifting Magic

Shopaholics out there, get ready for a major holiday slay this season! Until 1 January, Elements is bringing all the Christmas magic with an eight-metre-tall Christmas tree and a fantastical box of magic loaded with festive surprises. Santa and his elves will appear hourly in magical animated shows, so come make your Christmas wishes when they visit on select December dates. 12. Mira Place: Find Your Santa Zo-mate

Can’t fly out to Northern Europe for aurora this season? You can still live out your Northern Lights fantasy this Christmas at Mira Place with its groundbreaking “Find Your Santa Zo-mate” installations. It’s the first-ever AI lifting ball display at a Hong Kong mall, featuring a mesmerising stargazing experience with 200 dynamic balls that transform into celestial motifs and zodiac signs every 15 minutes. Plus, the Nordic-themed Christmas village and 12 astrological Santa Zo-mates help you find your Christmas soulmate based on your sign. And an outdoor Giant Santa on the footbridge? Uber festive. 13. LCX: LCX x ToyQube

This holiday season at LCX, beloved animated character Astro Boy is soaring in to celebrate a white Christmas in Hong Kong. Until 1 January, embark on your own adventure through the incredible installations set up by LCX and the renowned toy company, ToyQube. Find exclusive Astro Boy collectibles at The Astro Boy Ski Station, then try on the iconic red boots and recharge at the Power-up Capsule. Next, you should check out the Sightseeing Cable Car where you can take pics with the Astro Boy snowman for a cute holiday memento. 14. Hong Kong Disneyland: A Disney Christmas

Share Christmas musical moments at Hong Kong Disneyland with the whole family! Until 1 January, the Castle of Magical Dreams will be home to the all-new Disney Christmas Live in Concert. Over 100 members from The Hong Kong Children’s Choir will be invited to perform, as well as special appearances by local singers Jason Chan and Phil Lam. 17. Monkey 47 x Shady Acres: Shady’s Gingerhaus

The crowd favourite local bar is getting a Christmas makeover as Shady Acres is transforming into Shady’s Gingerhaus until 3 January. Inside this life-size gingerbread house, you can expect a series of festive activities and events from Monkey 47 and Shady Acres. The whimsical bar will be complete with gingerbread cookie tiles, giant cookie windows, twinkling lights, and an upside-down Christmas tree. Every Thursday and Sunday, events like international bartender takeovers, live Christmas medley singers, and even puppy adoption days will be filling the bar with plenty of holiday cheer.
