From island fashion and sustainable jewellery, to elegant homeware and handmade gifts – here’s where to shop in Sanur.
Confession time: Sanur isn’t known for being a fancy shopping hub. But fret not, shopaholics – there are a few stores in Sanur that you can splurge on whenever you need an afternoon of retail therapy. Here’s a short and sweet Sanur shopping list, including my all-time favourite Bali-born brands and newly opened fashion stores every Bali fashionista knows about.
FYI – Most of these stores are located along Jalan Danau Tamblingan – AKA Sanur’s “eat” street – and are within walking distance or a short scooter-ride from each other.
Why trust this guide
I’ve lived in Sanur for 10+ years, so I’ve seen first-hand how its shopping scene has changed throughout the past few years. Shopping in Sanur used to be more about affordable souvenirs and clothing you would find in local markets. Now, world-renowned Bali-born fashion brands are opening their stores in Sanur. Plus, there’s also Icon Mall located by the beach (more on this below), which houses even more stores.
