Make your happily ever after as breathtaking as your Vera Wang wedding dress at one of these dazzling wedding venues in Bali
When something blue is the Indian Ocean, and something borrowed is a fragrant flower that’s fallen from a nearby frangipani, who wouldn’t want their dream wedding to be in Bali? You won’t find any stuffy ballrooms or bog-standard table settings here. Instead, Bali weddings are all about glamorous venues with wow-worthy views, and some of the most intricate decorations around, courtesy of the island’s expert wedding planners.
So to help you dance your way down a shell-dotted aisle or floral forest footpath, we’ve found 10 of Bali’s most breathtaking wedding venues for your Big Day in paradise, from dazzling clifftop chapels to magical jungle hideaways, and everything else fabulous in between.
The Forest Pool & Garden Rooftop at Bisma Eight
Lush green ravines, enchanting forest surrounds and mystical views of Bali’s nearby volcanoes – Bisma Eight feels less like a boutique resort in the heart of Ubud’s cultural centre, and more like a remote jungle hideout in a faraway land. This tranquil destination promises magical “I Do” moments, with not one but two dazzling wedding venues. The Forest Pool is one of our faves, with a floating aisle and jungle setting that’s straight out of a fairytale. It sits high up in the treetop canopies, suspended over the resort’s western-facing infinity pool, so that as you stand beneath a tropical arch over gently rippling water, a candy-coloured sky makes for the most breathtaking, natural backdrop. This dream-like destination is best suited to a larger celebration, whilst the lush Garden Rooftop venue is perfect for a more intimate occasion. Surrounded by flora and fauna, this elevated al-fresco spot quite literally takes Bali’s nuptial game to the next level, with its exotic flowers, lush green aisle and live musicians that add to the forest harmonies. No matter which venue you choose, Bisma’s team of wedding professionals are experts in upping the romance, ready to take care of every detail, from the gourmet food and wine, to bountiful flowers, decor and more.
Best for: A boutique wedding in a fairytale forest setting
Guestlist: Maximum of 100 guests at the Forest Pool & up to 80 guests at the Garden Rooftop.

Villa Tamarama at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort
If the thought of a six-star private villa resort is your kinda wedding venue, then The Ungasan Clifftop Resort may well be the “I do” destination for you. There are nine wedding venues to choose from, including Sundays Beach Club (with its white-sand private beach, sparkly lagoon and gourmet goodies from a famed Aussie chef)) seven private villas (each with their own cliff-edge infinity pools), and Selatan Restaurant with its perfectly manicured lawn and panoramic views. Our fave is the colonial-style Villa Tamarama, perfect for an elegant, white wedding with endless options for an outdoor set-up beneath the stars.
