Where to watch the National Day 2025 fireworks in Singapore
1. Kaarla: Indoor and outdoor viewing spots

With both alfresco and indoor seating available, Kaarla boasts some of the best views of the city. So it’s only natural that this resto is one of our top spots for viewing fireworks displays in Singapore. It can get pretty warm at night, so we recommend getting a seat inside, near the floor-to-ceiling windows. While you soak up the cityscape from the top of this sleek skyscraper, be sure to order small and sharing plates of Australian dishes with Japanese influences. We’re particularly in love with the pork belly skewers.
Address: Kaarla, Level 51, Capitaspring, 88 Market Street, Singapore 048948
2. Le Noir: Catch live music shows before the fireworks
We don’t just love Le Noir for its food, drink and live music experience. Situated along the scenic water view of the Singapore River, you’re basically guaranteed a stunning front-row seat to the fireworks action. Kick back with a Singapore Sling and watch the light show unfold. Psst: you don’t have to enter the space if you wanna enjoy the music! We typically sit by the benches outside to vibe out after taking a walk around Marina Bay Sands.
Address: Le Noir, #01-84, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018972
3. HighHouse: For a classy viewing party

360-degree views of the Singapore skyline? Yes, please! If you’re in the mood for something new, make a date with HighHouse. Perched up in the clouds, it takes over the space left behind by 1-Altitude. We’ve had many fun nights here with stunning views, live music and DJs, and elegant food and drinks. For those wondering where to watch the fireworks in Singapore, this might just be the classiest experience.
Address: HighHouse, Level 61, One Raffles Place, 1 Raffles Place, Singapore 048616
4. Caffe Fernet: Family-style dining and a show
So you’d rather treat your loved ones to an elaborate family-style meal? Caffe Fernet is your spot for the evening. The restaurant hosts a wonderful dinner and drinks with a side of fireworks! Almost every table has a lovely view of the bay, so we typically never worry about where we’re seated. We recommend families sit alfresco to give the kids plenty of room to walk around and play.

6. Kinki Restaurant & Bar: Open-air bar on the second level

Apart from its contemporary Japanese grub, graffiti walls, sake and themed cocktails, this casual street-style eatery with a stellar view is another joint for catching a glimpse of the fireworks. Clink those ochoko cups as you make your toast! The rooftop bar would be our usual pick to get better views of the fireworks. But the air-conditioned restaurant downstairs has full-length windows so you can enjoy the full view even if you’re at the restaurant.
Address: Kinki Restaurant & Bar, #02-02, Customs House, 70 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049323
7. Singapore Flyer: The peak of fireworks watching

If you’re someone who believes the higher the better (like us), it doesn’t get any better than the Singapore Flyer. Plant yourself 150 metres up in the sky and come face-to-face with the pyrotechnics. To make it an extra special occasion, opt for the sky dining or champagne experience. You might have to time your visit a little to make it to the top before the fireworks start, but it’ll be all worth it for those Instagram pictures.
Address: Singapore Flyer, 30 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039803
8. Southbridge: Views overlooking the Singapore River
Oysters, alcohol and a remarkable view of the fireworks: Best. Combo. Ever. If you agree with us, be sure to hit up Southbridge. The bar, which overlooks the Singapore River, knows a thing or two about umami with its show-stopping creations like the wagyu beef sliders, truffle fries, and oysters. Oh, and the view is great, of course. Our golden hour drinks at the bar are always the dreamiest.

17. High Street Centre: Our old secret spot
We’ll let you in on what might be one of the quietest spots to watch the fireworks in Singapore for free. Our old office at High Street Centre has a shockingly beautiful view of the Marina Bay area, and it’s highly underrated. You can head to the car park at level four or five to get a pretty solid view of all the activities.
While not fabulous by any means, it’s not the first place anyone would think of to view the fireworks, which means it’s quieter and likely won’t have huge crowds. If you drive in (parking is pretty expensive, be warned), you can even sit in the back of the car with a mini picnic and make a date out of it!
Address: High Street Centre, 1 North Bridge Road, Singapore 179094
18. Helix Bridge: A strategic spot

There’s nothing quite as romantic as a walk hand-in-hand with someone along the waters of the Singapore River. We love making a pitstop along the Helix Bridge to admire the views, and it’s a strategic spot to get an uninterrupted view of the fireworks in Singapore. Hot tip: it’s typical for many people to set up picnics along the bridge, and you’re welcome to settle along the edge to reserve your spot. But be sure to park yourself early, as it can get pretty crowded.
Address: Helix Bridge, Downtown Core
19. Esplanade Roof Terrace: Our favourite open-secret firework spot
Don’t want to mingle with the crowds by the waterfront? Head up to this alfresco rooftop space at Esplanade to watch the fireworks display. This place is an open secret, so expect to be surrounded by other merrymakers. We braved the sun in this spot one time but the views were worth it.
Address: Esplanade Roof Terrace, 1 Esplanade Drive, Singapore 038981

20. Esplanade Waterfront: Popular fireworks-watching area with great views
This 300m long waterfront is the perfect place to watch the fireworks in Singapore – and you don’t even have to fork out a single cent! Head early to score a good spot; the waterfront gets really crowded during peak festive periods, we speak from experience.
Address: Esplanade Waterfront, 1 Esplanade Drive, Singapore 038981
21. Marina Barrage: Picnic perfect bliss
Singapore’s 15th reservoir, Marina Barrage, is a dam built across the mouth of the bay between Marina East and Marina South. It’s a popular spot for many families and couples, and we like to spend a weekend flying kites because the breeze is unbelievable here. Bring along a picnic mat and chill on the spacious rooftop garden as you wait for the dazzling illuminations in the sky.

There isn’t a more apt way to commemorate our independence than with Singapore’s famous icon, the Merlion!
Address: Merlion Park, 1 Fullerton Road, Singapore 049213
23. Bay East Garden: A nature oasis for a peaceful watch party
Easily one of our fave secret spots for picnics and scenic bike rides, Bay East Garden offers gorgeous, sweeping views of the Marina Bay Skyline without the usual hordes of tourists. It’s situated opposite the Supertree Grove, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, and we suggest splurging on hawker treats to go from Satay by The Bay to feast out while waiting for the big show.
Address: Bay East Garden, 11 Rhu Cross, Singapore 437440

24. Marina Bay Promontory and The Lawn: Riverside views to catch the parade
Bring the gang, a picnic mat and your cameras, and head to The Lawn where you can sit, relax and enjoy the picturesque show! If you don’t fancy lounging around at The Lawn, park yourself down along Marina Bay Promontory with unhindered views galore. We love sitting on the free lounge chairs available near the river, but those are definitely gonna get snapped up quick.
Address: The Promontory@Marina Bay, 11 Marina Boulevard, Singapore 018940
25. Mount Faber Peak: Distant but romantic views
While the view of the fireworks is from a distance here, this hilltop destination is perfect for a romantic rendezvous. A couple of bars and restos – including Arbora @ Mount Faber Peak and Dusk @ Mount Faber Peak – are located here. It takes a little effort to get a good spot, but once we hit that peak, we kick back over a beer or two and soak in the show in serenity.
