Team bonding and table tennis? Yes, please! Here’s what to expect at TopTable in Singapore.
TopTable is New Bahru’s hottest new hangout, and there’s no room for boredom here. This fun-filled, family-friendly destination for games like table tennis, beer pong, and darts is the brainchild of three founders in Singapore who are passionate about ping pong. Curious to give it a go, we popped by for a mini team bonding session on a sunny weekday afternoon. From hilarious table tennis fails to intense rounds of darts, we spent a good two hours at TopTable, and here’s our honest take.

TopTable review: Details at a glance
Best for: Fun group hangouts, small team outings, and casual events
How much: Various packages available, including pay-as-you-play at $13 per pax for 55 minutes
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 11pm
Address: TopTable, #04-12 to #04-15, New Bahru, 46 Kim Yam Road, Singapore 239351
What to do: Activities and entertainment

Tucked away on the fourth floor of New Bahru, TopTable takes up a sprawling space and packs it with plenty of fun. Think ping pong tables, dart machines, a bar counter, and cosy booths for cheery conversations. Thanks to the friendly team and spacious size, it’s pretty perfect for hosting relaxed events like intimate birthday bashes and group outings.
Without wasting a minute, we got right down to business and picked up our table tennis paddles to kickstart our game. Cue the giggles and clumsy serves, because none of us were ping pong pros. But you don’t need that to have a good time – the place is beginner-friendly, so no one’s looking at how badly you execute your smash or how high your ball flies. You’re free to play as you wish – whether it’s singles, doubles, “round the world”, or even beer pong, it’s up to you.

Next, we hit our mark at the darts machine, where our confidence quickly depleted even while tackling amateur games like mini golf. No judgment, though. It’s all in good fun, and there are loads of dart tournament options like Football, Moonlanding, Beer Tap, and Cricket for different skill levels.
As long as you’re not the overly competitive type, you’ll enjoy the entertainment options at TopTable. P.S. you can also go for private table tennis classes ($150 per lesson) to level up and impress at your next game night!
Game packages for different group sizes

The easiest game package to go for is pay-as-you-play, which starts at $13 per pax for 55 minutes and goes up to $21 per pax for 115 minutes. Plus, it’s free for the fifth guest onwards at the same table. If you’re the thirsty type, get the play-and-sip deal with 55 minutes of game time and two drinks for $22 per pax (non-alcoholic) or $35 per pax (alcoholic).
Those rounding up a couple of friends can consider the group packages, starting from Chop (for three or four), which gives you 85 minutes of games, two pizzas and one small bite, and six drinks for $170.
What to eat: Bar bites and drinks

With its focus on fun and games, TopTable’s food menu plays more of a supporting role with familiar bar bites and classic pizzas. It’s not groundbreaking, but it is satisfying enough to fuel you up for your next round and provide nibbles in between the excitement.
In the mood for pizza? You can’t go wrong with pepperoni ($28). But if you’re feeling adventurous, try the Brussels sprouts ($26) or prawn with habanero honey ($30). On the snack side, the TT fries ($15) with prosciutto crisp, parmesan, and torched Kewpie mayo are addictive. For a sweet treat, we’d recommend the cookie of the week ($6).
If you love a boozy twist to your game, try cocktails like Pong-jito ($18) and Smasharita ($19), the bar’s version of a mojito and margarita. They’re not the most potent, but they’ll get the job done. Fizzy drinks like sparkling lemonade ($9) were our team’s favourite, though the iced strawberry matcha latte ($10) sadly fell short of expectations.
Tip: head down during weekday happy hours (Tuesdays to Fridays, 12pm to 8pm) for drink deals from $10!

After an afternoon of light-hearted competition, we’d say TopTable is a fresh, fuss-free concept and welcome addition to Singapore’s social scene. It’s great for quirky date nights, chill hangouts, and team bonding activities that don’t feel too stiff or forced. If you’re looking for a good laugh with friends, this spot hits the mark.
