PSA: Swifties, we’re only less than a month away from The Eras Tour. Ready or not, gear up for Taylor Swift magic with these tips.
Can you believe it’s been eight months since The Great War? It feels like yesterday when we were tussling for a much-coveted spot at Taylor Swift’s long-anticipated The Eras Tour in Singapore. Congrats to the valiant among us who’ve emerged unscathed and victorious. But the battle is yet to be over. It’s time to dive headfirst into concert preparation. There’s no such thing as being over-prepared, right? So drop everything now and put on your fave TayTay earworm, ‘cos we’re delving into all the tips to get concert-ready.
We’re ready to feel that magic in the air at Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Singapore
1. Stay in style with ‘fits for every era
From country sweetheart to sparkly pop princess, Taylor has given us plenty of style inspiration to pull out the fashion chops. Not sure where to get started? Here are some of our fave looks from her different eras.
Take a walk down memory lane with outfits reminiscent of Taylor’s debut era. Think boho-chic summer dresses, cowboy boots and a handful of funky bracelets. Channel youthful energy while staying effortlessly chic with Modparade’s free-spirited collection. Just take a look at the Baume padded dress and Francine dress in the dreamiest floral prints.
Or, dial up the bling with Fearless-inspired shimmery dresses and rhinestone pieces, like the sparkle collection from She Creates Stories. Go for the Valle short dress from Winona or the ombre mini dress from Bec and Bridge; these classy pieces will keep you comfy for hours of non-stop singing and dancing.
@whatchynnawears Had too much fun styling these outfits!! 🩷🐍🌟🫶🦋✨ Eras tour, eras tour outfit ideas, swifties, eras tour japan, eras tour singapore, taylor swift, tstheerastour
Dreamy and romantic, the Speak Now era is perfect for those who wanna live out their fairytale dreams. Go for a flowy maxi dress or a sweet ruffled top – in hues of purple, no less. We’re eyeing the sweet babydoll maxi dress and textured top from Love Bonito that spell ethereal.
Love the cheeky vintage style of Red? This era screams classic Americana, so pay homage to that with timeless prints like stripes, plaid, polka dots and gingham. Pro tip: vintage shops like Vintagewknd are your best bet for retro, one-of-a-kind pieces.
If you’ve left the outfit prep to the eleventh hour, these Taylor Swift-inspired collections have got you covered with a slew of stylish options. Check out Pomelo for its shimmering sequin mini skirt and pink furry tank top that rep the Lover era, or Karma-inspired sequin baby tees. For a fuss-free alternative, we’re eyeing the comfy tees from local business Blind Gold Rush, alongside Swiftie keychains and necklaces to jazz up your outfit.
2. Get your glam on with red lips, rosy cheeks and more
Now that you’ve got the outfit down pat, it’s time to complete the look with stunning makeup. While we love Taylor’s signature bold red lip, there’s so much more you can experiment with. Whether it’s a sultry smokey eye makeup that channels Reputation or pastel tones for the Lover girls, every era boasts distinct colours and styles.
Thanks to fellow Swifties, there are a ton of gorgeous looks on TikTok and Instagram to draw inspiration from. Nothing says dedication more than local TikTok content creator Clara (@clara.slays) recreating all of Taylor’s Eras Tour outfits as concert-worthy makeup looks. We love her Midnights-inspired look that reminds us of a starry night sky; as well as the use of cool tones, whites and shimmer in her iridescent Folklore makeup.
@clara.slays Omg i did a transition tut for this but the sound got removed but anw here’s midnights as makeup!! #erastour #taylorswift #sgbeauty
Wanna recreate these looks to a T? Use cult favourites like Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin foundation and Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation for a flawless base that can hold up in the humidity. For Taylor’s iconic red lip, try the Pat McGrath Liquilust Legendary Wear matte lipstick in Elson 4, or Mac Cosmetics Retro matte lipstick in Ruby Woo. Both lippies are tried and tested to give you that vivid yet budge-proof colour.
Don’t forget to complete the look with plenty of shimmer using the Isamaya Wild Star palette or the Pat McGrath Mothership VII Divine Rose eyeshadow palette. We hear Taylor uses the latter to achieve her glamorous stage look – so you know it’s the real deal.
3. Make the friendship bracelets – and wear them
When Taylor tells us to make the friendship bracelets, trust that we are on it. Yes, nostalgia is making a comeback in the form of friendship bracelets at The Eras Tour. (ICYMI: this is all thanks to that famed one-liner in You’re On Your Own, Kid.)
Lay out the colourful threads, funky charms and neon beads, ‘cos it’s time to get crafting. Need some supplies? Swing by Chinatown for a galore of craft stores, including the TikTok-viral Beads and Crafts.
@beadsandcrafts We are located at 101 Upper Cross Street 02-59 People’s Park Centre S058357 #singapore #beads #beadsandcrafts #singaporebeads #bracelet #braceletmaking #sg #sgtiktok #friendshipbracelets #crafts
Take inspiration from your fave song lyrics and titles, and wear that Swiftie badge proudly on your wrist. Be sure to bring along more bracelets if you’re up to swap these sentimental gems with other fans!
4. Master all the fan chants and rituals
Now, the last thing you want is to be left in the dust when the entire stadium is roaring in sync. Don’t fret, we’re here to the rescue with common fan chants and rituals you’ll wanna keep in your back pocket.
Let’s start with a classic: You Belong With Me. Get your hands ready to do a double clap during the bridge portion and after the line, “I’m the one who makes you laugh when you know you’re ‘bout to cry”. Another iconic move all early Swifities will know? After the bridge in Fearless, put your hands in a heart shape above your head.

There are also call-and-response chants. For instance, during Style, shout out “What time is it” just before Taylor starts belting out her 1989 hit. During Bejeweled, call out “Where are you going, Taylor?” at the end of the first verse. Psst: there’s an (ever-evolving) list of fan chants and rituals, so look it up online if you wanna be prepped to the fullest!
5. There’s no such thing as too much Taylor Swift
With only a couple of weekends left until The Eras Tour in Singapore, you bet we already have Taylor Swift on repeat. From classic bops to her latest hits, the 44-song setlist feels almost like a fever dream…
@iluvhrrryy GIRL YOURE INSANE I NEED INTERNACIONAL DATES NOW @Taylor Swift IM BEGGING #taylorswift #theerastour #theerastourtaylorswift #swiftie #fyp
Get ready to groove to 1989 hits such as Style, Blank Space and Shake It Off; pour your heart out with all-time hits Love Story and You Belong With Me; and sway to Evermore tunes like Willow and Champagne Problems.
If you think it can’t get any better, Taylor also adds surprise songs to each show. Our game plan? Listen to every single track on each album. Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to go through her entire discography before the concert.
6. Scream in colour at pre-concert parties and tribute nights
Counting down the days before you can belt out your fave TayTay hits in front of her? Shake off that pre-concert excitement at these spellbinding parties.
From 23 to 25 February, The Tipsy Collective will hold tribute nights, starring live performances by local musicians such as The Passerby and Supershy. Or, swing by the Hollandse Club on 24 February for Tay Tay The Eras Party. With tickets priced at $40 per pax, look forward to a best-dressed contest, friendship bracelet crafting sesh and your favourite Taylor anthems.
Confident that you’ve got all her song lyrics down pat? Bookmark your calendar for a Bejeweled singalong at Jewel Changi Airport on 1 March. Headlined by local artists Joie Tan and 53A, this enchanting event held at the Shiseido Forest Valley will feature up to two hours of Taylor’s biggest hits. It’s a free but ticketed event, so snag a spot now.
If you can’t get enough of Taylor Swift after The Eras Tour, these themed parties in Singapore will keep your post-concert withdrawals at bay. On 9 March, catch famed drag queen Lady Gagita at Taylor Shet: The Erase World Tour for a one-of-a-kind brunch party at Social M Hotel.
Come 16 March, drag queen Taylor Sheesh will also make her Singapore debut with The Errors Tour at Hard Rock Cafe. The one-night event kicks off with an opening karaoke sesh featuring Sabrina Carpenter’s hits before Sheesh takes the stage. Feels like deja vu, doesn’t it?
7. Gather all your concert survival essentials
It’s been a long time coming, and we can almost feel the Taylor magic in the air. The last step of getting concert-ready? Pack all your necessities so you can power through the entire setlist. While we love a cute bag to complement your ‘fit, make sure yours doesn’t exceed the dimensions of 35cm x 20cm x 30cm – or you may not be able to enter the concert venue!
If you need some inspiration, here’s what we’re throwing in our bag: a portable fan; a portable charger for extra juice; lip balm to keep crusty lips at bay; an empty plastic bottle (you can fill it up inside the stadium!); candies or mints for that energy boost; earplugs to protect your ears; and other essentials such as tissue packets, eye drops, Band-Aids, scrunchies, and some form of identification like your ID.
Certain items, such as non-collapsible umbrellas, outside food and drinks, noise makers (think air horns or whistles), and fan boards larger than 21cm x 29.7cm will not be allowed into the venue. Be sure to browse the National Stadium’s full list of prohibited items to be safe!
When it comes to concerts, there’s nothing fashionable about being late. Doors open at 4pm, so take time to familiarise yourself with the stadium layout, snag merchandise before things sell out, and get settled in.
Another pro tip: stick to public transport ‘cos we can already imagine how packed the roads will be. You can also consider walking to a further MRT station, like Kallang or Mountbatten, to avoid the crowds at Stadium MRT station. Another way to escape the crowd? Hop on Grab’s free shuttle buses to get home swiftly. Simply head to the pickup point, and get a ride to Redhill, Jurong East, Boon Keng and Toa Payoh MRT stations.
Don’t forget to bring along your ticket (backup print copies recommended), and you’ll be all set for an enchanting night.
Ah, we can’t wait for six sparkling nights in March with Taylor Swift.
