The newest studio to join the upbeat spinning scene, we reckon Anthem ranks top in terms of facilities – the locker room is spacious with plenty of showers which boast belif products, and the welcoming reception is stocked with magazines to accompany you as you wait for class. Those with a competitive spirit will love that Anthem displays everyone’s speed, resistance, and calories burned on a screen in front of the class. This is so cyclists will be motivated to push themselves harder and not fall behind. Of course, if you’re new and albeit nervous to show your stats to the world, you can simply opt out of this feature. Check out our review of Anthem here.

Have a bad knee? Try spinning under water; aqua spinning is gentler on your joints and actually makes for a great recovery workout. But that doesn’t mean you won’t burn as much calories as compared to dry spinning classes. In fact, because of the water resistance, you will actually loose about 800+ calories in a session. Plus, studies have shown that spinning underwater can also break down cellulite as well as reduce the risk of ugly varicose veins – sign us up!
