Local music finds a match in fried chicken connoisseurs, 4Fingers as they launch a music festival at Fort Canning Park
In perhaps the oddest pairing we’ve come across, popular Singapore fried chicken chain 4Fingers is collaborating with indie DJ duo EATMEPOPTART to bring you a local music festival at Fort Canning Park on 23 September.
Called Local Motion, this new festival will feature an all-local line-up including alt-indie pop band Lost Weekend, psychedelic-rock bros Bakers in Space, upbeat electropop outfit Disco Hue, new electronic music artist Jasmine Sokko and more. There will also be art stations by pinmakers Pindemic, and art collective The Three to cover the activities bit.
On hindsight, we think that it might be quite great to be snacking on copious amounts of fried chicken while taking in the sounds of local music, no? Admission is free, but you need to register to get them passes by 16 September. Get cracking!
