We’ve scoured our home turf of Telok Ayer for the hottest happy hours deals, and this time, we make a trip to the nearby Tanjong Pagar to find you the best boozy deals in this corner of the CBD. So let your hair down, and get your drink on at these eight bars with killer happy hour deals.
Hopscotch
Prefer quirky to classic? Head down to this delightfully kitschy little bar (pictured above) tucked away in the Red Dot Traffic Building – one of our favourite buildings in Singapore. Pick from an incredible variety of absolutely zany Singaporean-inspired cocktail offerings, from bandung shots to an alcoholic rendition of chicken soup. There’s much to try here, so go crazy because cocktails go for $15, wine at $7, house pour spirits at $8 and beers at $9 from 4-8pm daily.

Don’t Tell Mama
You certainly won’t want to tell Mama about your boozy shenanigans at this Korean/Mexican bar-restaurant. After all, with pints of Stella and Hoegaarden going for $10 and $11 respectively, and a slew of Korean-inspired tacos and quesadillas, you’ll find yourself here way too late, even on work nights. A trio of Corona, Sol and Heineken also goes for $25 while three bottles of Hite will set you back just $20. Happy hour runs from Mon-Sat, 5pm-8pm.

Bluemist
Quietly tucked away under Block 7 next to Tanjong Pagar Plaza, you’ll find this casual hole-in-the-wall bar with happy hour offers on all draft beers. From Mon-Sat, from opening ’til 8pm, you’ll get a pint of Guinness, Kilkenny or even Erdinger white and dark ales for just $10++. The food here ain’t too shabby either; definitely try the crispy pork belly if you need a coupla bites with your beer.

Pho Stop
A Vietnamese pho joint isn’t the first place you’d go to look for happy hour beers, but Pho Stop stocks quite the selection of tasty pints. Grab a pint of Asahi or Guinness for just $12, or bottles of tiger at $9 from Monday to Saturday, 12pm-9pm. And as an added bonus, you can stave off any potential hangovers with a hearty bowl of pho!

Bourbon Street
Livening up the already-animated Club Street is this new waterhole that pretty much cuts to the chase in its specialty – it’s daily happy hour until 8pm will get you a Jim Beam with mixer for $10, or a Jim Beam cocktail for $12. Fancy cooling off with a beer instead? Tiger on tap is just $10.

Boulevard Restrobar
Just next door to Hopscotch is this quiet white-collar haunt popular with the after work crowd. Pop by for a tipple between Monday to Friday, 3pm-10pm, and you’ll get a pint of draught beer for $14.80. Buckets of four Asahi or Stella Artois also go for the very affordable price of $32.
