Bake It Babe is now in Singapore, bringing its viral banana cake from Bangkok with promises of more menu items to come.
This just in: Bake It Babe is now in Singapore! We’re seeing many overseas arrivals this year, including Japan’s viral Cheese Wonder and China’s Molly Tea, so this comes as no surprise. For the unacquainted, Bake It Babe hails from Bangkok and rose to fame after a TikTok from Tuk Little Monster went viral with over 1.7 million views. Since then, it’s sold over 250,000 boxes – a feat when you consider the brand only sells in limited quantities.

Small batch, high quality

Bake It Babe first started as a home-based business. When founder Tarn was teaching Thai at her student’s home, she tasted a banana cake that would quite literally change her life. Unable to find a banana cake that could match up in terms of flavour, she decided to reverse-engineer the recipe for herself. Boom, that’s how Bake It Babe was born.
After opening a physical store in Chonburi, the brand went on to debut its first store in Singapore. To maintain high quality and consistency, the founders avoid mass production and instead bank on their small batch philosophy. Bananas are intentionally selected and stored until they reach optimal ripeness. And instead of butter, the cakes are baked with oil, which achieves a softer and moister outcome. As you’d expect, they sell out on the regular!
While Bake It Babe isn’t halal-certified, the cakes don’t contain any pork or lard.
How to order from Bake It Babe

If you fear snaking queues at Bake It Babe’s new Singapore store, your worries are for nought. The brand operates on a pre-order system: simply visit the website, place your order, and pick a time to collect your cake. All orders must be placed two days in advance, with delivery services to come.
Expansion and exclusive flavours incoming

Bake It Babe currently offers a single product – its famed banana cake. However, the founders have mentioned they’ll be working on new flavours and Singapore-exclusive offerings in the months to come. We’ve heard talks of one or two more Singapore outlets, so you might be able to get a Bake It Babe banana cake close to home soon.
