They’re perfect for office lunch breaks or a fuss-free weekday indulgence. Love a good deal? Check out our round-up of the best restaurants in Singapore and other affordable restaurants in Singapore serving set lunches worth every bite.
1. Sushisamba: A sky-high lunch with Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavours

There’s lunch – and then there’s lunch 52 storeys up with a full sweep of Singapore’s skyline. We recently popped by Sushisamba, and it made our weekday feel wildly indulgent (in the best way). We lucked out with a seat facing Tanjong Pagar and settled in for the Vivo Business Lunch ($48++), which promises a three-course power meal in under an hour. But honestly? Take your time.
After a comforting bowl of miso soup, we opted for the wagyu beef tataki (+$5) to start – silky, savoury, and elevated with crispy quinoa and a bold truffle ponzu. We also tried the spicy sushi roll, which was surprisingly filling with its trio of tuna, white fish, and salmon, topped with a spicy kimchi sauce.
Midway through, our server nudged us (okay, convinced us) to try the Samba Taquitos platter (+$22). Zero regrets. These bite-sized, crispy tacos were packed with flavour – our favourites were the lobster with tartar and yuzu, and the yellowtail with white miso and lime.
For mains, we went with the Chilean sea bass (+$15). It leaned a little sweet for our liking, but the sushi roll (salmon, avocado, cucumber, spicy aji panca) made up for it. Just when we thought we were done, dessert arrived – mochi ice cream in chocolate and passion fruit. Light, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet to cap things off.
Must-try dish: Wagyu beef tataki, Samba Taquitos platter
Expect to spend: from $48++; add on $18++ for cocktails
Lunch hours: Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 2.30pm; reservations highly recommended
Menu: Set lunch
Address: Sushisamba, #52-01, Capital Tower, 168 Robinson Road, Singapore 068912
Restaurants in Tanjong Pagar are known for their post-lunch hangouts and cosy afternoon spots, while nearby Telok Ayer restaurants offer plenty of great weekday lunch choices too.
2. Baia: Rooftop lunch served till 5pm

This rooftop stunner at Esplanade wowed us when it first opened, and now it’s giving us another reason to visit: a weekday set lunch menu served till 5pm. That’s right, late lunchers, rejoice!
Baia’s Italian-inspired menu brings coastal flair to the city. Start with small plates like whipped stracciatella with grilled sourdough ($12) or crispy Iberico pork jowl ($18). Light bites such as the Niçoise salad with bluefin tuna ($26) or wagyu tartare with tahini crema ($26) also hit the spot.
For mains, we tried the roasted chicken leg with wild morel mushroom fricassé ($30) – it’s comforting and earthy. There’s also a wagyu cheeseburger with truffle fries ($30) or a crispy eggplant cutlet ($28) if you’re feeling indulgent.
Dining with friends? Get the Gourmet Set Lunch ($78 for four) – we spotted a few tables ordering this communal spread with crab salad, prawn pasta, striploin and more. Or stick with the three-course weekday set lunch ($38++, antipasti, mains, and desserts), which changes weekly.
Must-try dish: Whipped stracciatella, wagyu tartare with tahini crema
Expect to spend: from $38++ for a three-course set lunch; $78 for a communal lunch for four pax
Lunch hours: 11.30am – 5pm, daily; reservations recommended
Menu: Set lunch
Address: Baia, Level 4, Esplanade Mall, 8 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039802
3. Ammakase: Neo-Indian omakase with French finesse and Japanese flair

Modern Indian with Japanese technique? This isn’t your typical biryani-chicken curry combo. Ammakase puts a refined spin on recipes inspired by amma (meaning “mum” in Tamil), blending bold Indian flavours with French precision and Japanese elegance. We popped in during lunch, where the space buzzed with the office crowd. Pro tip: snag a seat at the chef’s table for front-row views of the action.
The business lunch runs omakase-style, with six to ten courses (from $79++), and no two menus are quite the same. We had the Chef’s Odyssey, an eight-course journey featuring a lobster entrée, a duck signature, and a choice of main (lamb, chicken, fish, or vegetarian). No beef or pork is served.
Standouts? A perfectly crisp potato croquette with curry dip, creamy avocado chaat, cured Japanese hibachi with mango chilli sorbet, grilled lobster in tamarind pulusu curry, and a satisfying biryani with lamb kofta. The menu rotates every two weeks, so just sit back and let the chef surprise you. Don’t forget to try the inventive cocktails!
Must-try dish: Set menu, served omakase style
Expect to spend: from $79++ for a six-course menu
Lunch hours: Monday – Saturday, 12pm – 3pm, reservations recommended
Menu: Business lunch menu
Address: Ammakase, #04-48, One Raffles Place, Singapore 048616
4. Sospiri: A taste of Southern Italy with rooftop views

With all the Italian restaurants popping up in Singapore, it almost feels like we’re becoming experts in the cuisine. But have you tried Southern Italian nosh? Class is officially in session.
Sospiri dishes out rustic flavours from the south of Italy, all from a sleek rooftop perch at the heart of the CBD. Between the views, the interiors, and the stunning plates (yes, we noticed), it’s hard not to feel a little special. And judging by the bustling lunch crowd when we visited, we’re not the only ones who think so.
The three-course lunch set covers antipasti, main course, and dessert. One thing we genuinely appreciated was that only two dishes come with a supplement.
Starters include a light insalata verde with roasted zucchini and parmigiano, or a comforting butternut squash soup with garlic croutons and toasted pine nuts. For mains, the roasted seabream with crab bisque, a beautifully marbled Wagyu carpaccio with black truffle and pecorino fonduta (+$10), and violetta eggplant (+$12) as a vegetarian option, will fill you up nicely.
Dessert? Enjoy a refreshing berry compote with Bronte pistachio and mascarpone to seal the deal.
Must-try dish: Marbled Wagyu carpaccio
Expect to spend: from $38++ for a three-course meal
Lunch hours: Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 2.30pm, reservations highly recommended

5. Shinrai: Casual sushi spot with omakase-level flair

Always wanted to try omakase but not quite ready to splurge? Shinrai might be your sweet spot. This laid-back sushi-izakaya hybrid is the younger sibling of Sushi Yujo – aka the sleek, high-end omakase joint that built a quiet following.
The lunch sets (starting from $16.80) are seriously value-for-money and come with all the fixings – miso soup, salad, and the ultra-light signature cheesecake. We took a while to decide between the bara chirashi don loaded with sashimi cubes and ikura ($27.80), the juicy wagyu hamburg ($25.80), or the aburi mentaiko salmon don ($22.80). Pro tip: bring a friend and share. Feeling fancy? There’s also a wagyu foie gras don ($52.80) that’s as indulgent as it sounds.
Must-try dish: Bara chirashi don, Wagyu foie gras don
Expect to spend: from $16.80

6. Burma Social: Modern Burmese flavours galore

If you haven’t tried Burmese cuisine with a twist, this spot is a great place to start. Known for giving traditional recipes a modern, cheeky spin, the menu blends Southeast Asian comfort with dim sum classics and bao buns that pack a punch.
The executive lunch set is a sleeper hit – with options like four or six courses ($40++ onwards). We were happily full with just the four-course menu. Start with the chef’s soup and a refreshing salad (try the tea leaf salad or cold soba tossed in a creamy yuzu-peanut butter sauce – yes, it works). Starters span from tofu steak with Laotian herbs to BBQ pork ribs, and stir-fried garlic prawns.
For mains, you’ll love the Thai green curry with jasmine rice, though the Shan Khow Suey and steamed sea bass with black bean sauce are strong contenders too. You can always top up with prawns or chicken if you’re feeling extra.
Must-try dish: BBQ pork ribs, Shan khow suey
Expect to spend: from $40++
Lunch hours: Monday – Saturday, 11.30am – 3.00pm, make a reservation at Tras Street or East Coast

6. Saint Pierre: For an exquisite two Michelin-starred lunch

If you’ve ever wanted a taste of fine dining without committing to the full-blown dinner affair, lunch at this two Michelin-starred gem is your answer. Chef-owner Emmanuel Stroobant offers a refined set menu that’s perfect for a long, lavish lunch, especially since every table gets a gorgeous view of Marina Bay. (We spent over two hours luxuriating in the spectacular waterfront sights!)
Go for the three-course set at $198++ per person (starter, main, dessert) or linger longer with the four-course option at $228++ (first starter, second starter, main, dessert). What’s on the ever-changing sample menu? Think Manjimup marron with buttermilk and perilla to start, followed by the luxe likes of Brittany blue lobster with maitake and vin jaune (a $38 supplement) or Shizuoka king crab in a green curry-edamame twist. Mains are equally elegant – choose from Nagasaki hata with sabayon and watercress, Bresse chicken with butternut, or upgrade to Omi beef with mala and sand carrot (+$38).
End sweet with a Tulameen raspberry baba or the bold Araguani chocolate with almond and Szechuan peppercorn. Cheese lovers can add on the farmed cheese course for $38.
Must-try dish: Varies from the set menu
Expect to spend: from $198++
Lunch hours: Wednesday – Saturday, 11.30am – 3.00pm, reservations strongly recommended

7. HighHouse: Lunch with modern Pan-Asian flavours and a side of altitude

We all know HighHouse brings the vibes after dark, but come by during the day and you’ll see it in a whole new light (literally). This sky-high stunner serves a weekday lunch menu that’s as impressive as the views.
Set lunch options start at $48++ for two courses and go up to $68++ for four, all spotlighting vibrant Pan-Asian flavours with a Pacific Rim twist. Cold and hot starters include the Dutch kingfish crudo dressed in spiced ginger-sesame, and grilled Indonesian squid with cowhorn pepper sauce and crispy fish skin.
Mains are just as tempting. You’ve got Spanish octopus reginette pasta in lobster bisque (+$8), or 12-hour slow-cooked sakura pork belly with a coffee-balsamic glaze. Even the plant-based Massaman Thai curry hits the spot.
For dessert, the matcha gateau with sencha sponge and grapefruit compote is a standout, but if you’re more of a nutty-sweet fan, the coconut and cashew tart with barley tea ice cream seals the deal.
Must-try dish: Saikyo miso foie gras, Spanish octopus reginette pasta
Expect to spend: from $48++ for a two-course set lunch
Lunch hours: Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 2.30pm; Reservations recommended

8. Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen: A value-for-money lunch that’ll leave you in a food coma

Wear your stretchy pants and reject that 2pm meeting ‘cos this is the kind of lunch worth lingering over (we sure did!). Griglia’s open-fire Italian concept dials up the drama with a buzzy, wood-accented space that feels warm, social, and just a little bit indulgent.
Perfect for team lunches or one-on-one catchups (though we recommend the former), the menu leans into rustic Italian fare with a modern edge. Start with small plates like creamy burratina, scallop carpaccio, or a punchy beef tartare. Mains are generous and full of flavour, featuring tiger prawn fusilli with spicy ‘nduja, pappardelle with pork cheek and black truffle, and smoky Iberico pork collar straight off the grill. The beef striploin tagliata? A crowd-pleaser.
And yes, dessert is non-negotiable. The Sicilian cannoli, filled with ricotta and studded with chocolate, is the sweet finish your afternoon needs.
Must-try dish: Beef striploin tagliata, pappardelle with pork cheek and black truffle
Expect to spend: $38++ for a three-course lunch
Lunch hours: Tuesday – Friday, 12pm – 3pm; make a reservation at Craig Road or Katong

9. Caffe Fernet: Italian fare with bayfront views

There are many establishments around the Marina Bay area, but what makes Caffe Fernet a standout in our books is the consistently good food. Every time we visit, we’re never disappointed. And hey, the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands receives plus points. But before you get excited, the set lunch is only served on Thursdays and Fridays, so plan accordingly.
Start with burrata topped with pistachio pesto, or go bold with salmon crudo dressed in truffle vinaigrette. Mains range from indulgent cacio e pepe to a luxe crab aglio e olio with uni sauce (+$9), or the fork-tender wagyu beef cheek tagliatelle (+$9).
And yes, dessert is worth it. Whether you go for the orange olive oil cake, a classic tiramisu (+$3, includes a hit of dark rum), or the cherry blueberry crumble, you’ll be ending on a good kinda sugar high.
We’re not saying cocktails (from $18) are encouraged, but we’re also not saying they aren’t.
Must-try dish: Cacio e pepe, wagyu beef cheek tagliatelle
Expect to spend: $40++ for a two-course lunch, $46 for a three-course lunch

10. Garibaldi Italian Restaurant and Bar: Fine dining, Italian style – without the price tag

Garibaldi knows its way around Italian cuisine, and lucky for us, its signature lunch set makes fine dining feel downright approachable. Starters set the tone: think deep-fried seafood cake with a punchy arrabbiata sauce, refreshing green salad with feta and sunflower seeds, and a comforting broccoli soup with garlic croutons. Or treat yourself to the creamy buffalo mozzarella with San Marzano tomatoes (a worthy +$10 splurge).
Mains are equally satisfying – take your pick from orecchiette in a lush summer truffle cream, spaghetti with juicy Angus beef meatballs, or braised free-range chicken thigh cacciatore. Seafood lovers, go luxe with the grouper fillet and clams in white wine soup (+$20).
End things on a sweet note with the dessert of the day or upgrade to an à la carte pick (+$10). A coffee or tea is included, because Garibaldi knows a good Italian lunch isn’t complete without it.

11. Bedrock Bar & Grill: Woodfire-grilled meats and classics

Tucked away from the bustle of Orchard, Bedrock Grill is your lunchtime escape with serious West LA flair. The three-course set lunch (from $42) is a midday treat that feels indulgent, but you’ll leave with no regrets. Start strong with a velvety truffle mushroom soup or a char-grilled baby gem salad topped with heirloom tomatoes.
For mains, it’s a tough call between a juicy rib-eye ($58), tenderloin ($68), barramundi ($42) or fall-off-the-bone lamb ribs rice bowl ($48) – all grilled to perfection. Dessert doesn’t disappoint either: take your pick between the rich burnt cheesecake or sticky pudding.
Short on time? There’s a two-course option featuring crowd-pleasers like cheeseburgers ($32), fish and chips ($35), rosemary rice bowl ($32), along with a dessert.
