Pioneering at vegan cheese in Hong Kong, Le Fromage uses almond and cashew as a main ingredient to bring together vegan delights with an artisanal touch. While it all started from a humble beginning of sourcing European cheese for a friend’s wedding, the founders of Cheese Club have come a long way since the launch in 2019. One of the best go-to cheese shops in Hong Kong, you can find goat cheese, blue cheese, Mediterranean origins, and cheese of every texture! A well-known catering company in Hong Kong, Meat The Sea sources premium quality cheese to satisfy your salty tooth. 4. La Cremerie

If you’ll settle for nothing less than French artisanal cheese, then bookmark La Cremerie immediately. The specialty cheese shop stocks only the finest cheeses imported straight from the top producers in France, and even has its own maturation room where the wheels are stored until they are just right. La Cremerie’s impressive offering includes raw goat milk from Loire Valley, l’emmental from Savoie, camembert from Normandie, munster from Alsace, and brie from Ile de France. 5. The Dutch

Step inside The Dutch Cheese and More, and at once you’ll be greeted by large wheels of gouda stacked from floor to ceiling. This cheese shop is a little slice of Amsterdam tucked away in Central Hong Kong. Their Gouda is in fact, flown in from Holland every couple of weeks, so you know it’s authentic. Patrons can choose to sit and order one of The Dutch’s fantastic cheese platters (paired with wine of course), or if you’re ordering for a dinner party you’re throwing at home, the passionate cheese masters will happily put together a custom takeaway platter of your cheesy dreams.

6. Great Food Hall

Great Food Hall is one of the best stocked supermarkets in Hong Kong, so it’s no surprise that this grocery store will have a serious selection of cheese from around the world. Burratina, parmigiano reggiano, cheddar, Roquefort – you name it, they’ve got it. A plus point? If you can’t make time to pop into the nearest Great Food Hall, worry not, as you can buy groceries online as well. Just pop over to their site and they’ll deliver straight to your door.

7. Classified
A casual neighbourhood café that’s serious about their cheese – just check out their walk-in temperature controlled cheese room to see what they are all about. While you’re there, try an order of their cool cheese platter, or if you’re feeling extra indulgent, their ooey gooey cheese fondue. Classified even has a Build Your Own Cheese Box delivery service. Handpick from a selection of gourmet cheese including Asiago, Gorgonzola, Brie de Meaux and Mimolet Young, and the café will send a box right over – with crackers and quince paste, of course! 8. Monsieur Chatte

Family-run French gourmet shop Monsieur Chatte is an artisan food-lovers haven. The shop serves a delicious selection of the finest imported French groceries like pates, charcuterie and of course wine and cheese. That’s not all – Monsieur Chatte’s freshly grilled melted raclette is one of the most talked about in the city. Cheese-lovers NEED to sign up for one of their all you can eat raclette dinners (yes, it’s a thing) that happens every last Thursday of the month.
