Bali’s legendary club may be gone (it took its final bow in 2011), but the hedonistic spirit of Double Six club lives on – now in the form of the new Double-Six Luxury Hotel, an all-suite destination hotel along the fabled namesake beach.
And news just in is the highly anticipated Double-Six Rooftop is open and really rather spectacular. Sitting 15 metres above sea level and covering over 1700 square meters, it is one of the world’s largest rooftop venues. Guests are now able to enjoy locally inspired cocktails designed by Jonathan Jack while listening to international entertainment acts and relaxing in the ‘floating pods’ or private areas looking out to sea.
Set to be the island’s most happening address (obviously) – thanks to its impeccable hospitality, fab details, killer sea views, and a dream team consisting of the industry’s crème de la crème – Double-Six Luxury Hotel is where to live it up, or rather, live it all in Bali. Did we mention the jaw-dropping ocean panoramas, and the top-notch service?
All of that is just the icing on the cake. Not only are the rooms designed to look like a chic penthouse apartment on New York’s Fifth Avenue, the expansive en-suites come with – wait for it – Hermes toiletries, and a flat screen TV above the tub. Plus, the endless white-sand beach that is Double Six is right at your doorstep, and there’s a 120-metre pool within the luxury property for when the sun gets too scorching.
Here’s what going to happen when you’re at Double-Six Luxury Hotel: have breakfast at Robert Marchetti’s Seminyak Italian Food restaurant, and watch the crashing waves beyond, then stretch it out in a private yoga class. Indulge in a detoxifying steam in Acqua Perla Spa’s Hamman, and finish off with a Valmont facial to look oh-so perfect for a sunset selfie back at Seminyak Italian Food’s poolside bar. The best time to be there sipping cocktails is from 4 to 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays when it’s Aperetivo Hour – there’s a selection of Chianti, and Italian bites are complimentary! For those who wishes to venture out to neighboring spots for the night, hop on to the hotel’s buggy to get to Chez Gado Gado or Ku de Ta.
In love? We don’t blame you!
