Planning a trip to Bali and worried about eating well as a vegan or vegetarian? Here are the best plant-based restaurants in Bali worth your time.
It seems like only yesterday that vegans were seen as extreme eaters – rare, mythical creatures that surely couldn’t survive at “regular” restaurants. But these days, plant-forward restaurants are popping up across the island, faster than our almond milk flat whites are going down. But if you think vegan food in Bali means piles of leaves, think again! There are “meaty” jackfruit chunks, juicy tempeh burger patties, and creamy cashew cheese that can fool any die hard carnivores. Here are my picks of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Bali serving the best plant-based food.
