To welcome Weave Sentosa to our buzzing lifestyle landscape, we spent a whole day eating our way through the mall in search of the best food.
After New Bahru and Kada, we welcome Weave Sentosa to our collection of must-visit destinations in Singapore. We were in awe when we visited! The glass ceiling bathes its sweeping architecture in beautiful sunlight, and the space is airy and cooling (especially the basement). We spent a whole day exploring Weave Sentosa’s new cafes and restaurants, including popular brands like Standard Bread and Pierre Herme, and here’s our verdict.
Where to eat at Weave Sentosa
1. The Coach Coffee Shop

Extending its presence out of the hip Keong Saik neighbourhood, Coach Coffee Shop is situated next to the brand’s retail space. You can’t miss it thanks to its green feature wall and bright yellow neon sign. Seating inside is limited, but the outside tables are just as lovely, if a bit warm. The menu is kept slim with classic New York offerings in generous portions.
The Reuben ($19) is generously filled with corned beef and sauerkraut. It’s a little salty for us, but if you enjoy that flavour, you’ll love the fully loaded Reuben ($30) with an extra serving of beef piled high on homemade sourdough. The must-order, however, is the grilled cheese ($13) served with tomato soup. It’s fuss-free, soul-warming, and shockingly delicious – we were mighty impressed.
For sweets, we recommend the soft serve. Peanut butter and jelly ($8) has the jam flavour bursting through the indulgent nutty taste, while the chilli crab ($8) flavour is like eating cold chilli crab sauce with a creamy texture. Top up $1.50 for the adorable Coach monogrammed cone, which is just as delicious as it is stylish. We also can’t get over the classic Coach “C” shaped ice cubes provided in our drinks. What an adorable addition!
Best for: New York-inspired bites and fun branding
Must-tries: Chilli crab soft serve, grilled cheese, wagyu beef hotdog
How much: Savouries start from $13, soft serve starts from $8, specialty drinks start from $8
Opening hours: Daily, 9am to 8pm
Address: The Coach Coffee Shop, #01-224/225/226, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
2. Xing Yue Xuan

Your in-laws will love this place. It’s the Jumbo Group’s first foray into refined Cantonese dining, with interiors inspired by the Chao Shan region featuring intricate woodwork and stained glass details. Each table is set up for intimate dining with high partitions, or pick the private dining rooms for maximum privacy.
The atmosphere and price tag make this more of a special occasion restaurant where Cantonese classics are dished up in individual portions instead of communal plates. If you’re going for variety, the tasting menu ($158) or executive lunch set ($78) is the best bang for your buck.
The double-boiled fish maw and kampong chicken soup ($38, a la carte) is rich and milky, enriched with collagen and morel mushrooms. Served tableside, the flambeed drunken live prawns ($48) are something you don’t get to see very often. Firm prawns are served with the poaching liquid on the side as a broth, which we found to be the most delicious part of the experience.
Crab lovers must top up the added $38 ($78, a la carte) for the fuss-free crab in chilli, black pepper, or steamed in custard egg. Save yourself the hassle and let the team do the work! You’ll get a plate generously filled with fresh crab meat and a shelled claw without risking cuts and scrapes.
Best for: Thoughtfully crafted Cantonese dishes to impress the in-laws
Must tries: Fuss-free crab, double-boiled fish maw & kampong chicken soup, flambeed drunken live prawns
How much: Tasting menu starts from $158 per person, a la carte plates start from $8
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 3pm & 5.30pm to 10.30pm; Saturday to Sunday, 11.30am to 3.30pm & 5.30pm to 10.30pm
Address: Xing Yue Xuan, B1-201, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
3. Homm Bakery

Bingsu cafe Homm Dessert has expanded into Weave Singapore as a full-fledged restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Tip: pick the inside booths to escape the heat.
On the extended savoury food menu, we tried the RWS-exclusive Thai chilli crab linguine ($22.80). We didn’t find the spice overwhelming, and the lemongrass gave the sauce a lighter taste. For the price, you get two battered soft shell crabs!
While the Thai Tea Avalanche Bingsu ($19.80) is a signature, we prefer the Mount Chendol ($18.80). Icy coconut snowflakes are surrounded by your usual chendol suspects (red beans, grass jelly, and pandan jelly) with a side of gula melaka syrup. It tastes just like chendol with subtle Thai inflexions – best for a hot day. Another recommended dessert is the brulee mochi sundae ($8.80) in flavours like coconut, Thai tea, and strawberry with passion fruit.
Best for: Powdery bingsu on a hot day
Must tries: Thai Tea Avalanche Bingsu, Mount Chendol, Thai chilli crab linguine
How much: Avalanche bingsu starts from $18.80, savoury menu starts from $8.80
Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, 11am to 9.30pm; Friday to Saturday, 11am to 10pm
Address: Homm Bakery, #01-232, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
4. Jumbo Premium

Beloved household name Jumbo just got massive street cred with its latest (and first premium) outlet. Despite its fancier facade, the outlet is welcoming and accessible in terms of price. This is also the only outlet besides the Ion Orchard one to serve a la carte dim sum.
Our favourite picks? The adorably-shaped red ruby dumplings with mushrooms and black truffle sauce ($6.80). Their translucent skin stays intact without being too firm, and the filling isn’t overpowered with truffle. The pan-fried Iberico pork buns ($8.80) burst with umami flavour, while the baked chilli crab puffs ($10.80) are for those who love Jumbo’s award-winning chilli crab sauce. It’s served piping hot, so be careful when you bite into it.
P.S. The a la carte menu remains the same, so you can still get zi char favourites for lunch and dinner.
Best for: Affordable dim sum
Must tries: Pan-fried Iberico pork buns, red ruby dumplings, chilli crab pastry
How much: Dim sum starts from $6.80, a la carte dishes start from $16
Opening hours: Daily, 9am to 10pm
Address: Jumbo Premium, B1-202/203, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
5. Pierre Herme

We were utterly captivated by Pierre Herme’s brightly lit space and aesthetically pleasing corners. Our favourite spot? The 360-degree macaron and pastry counter crowned by a stained glass feature suspended from the ceiling. Psst: the brand is set to launch a full-service restaurant on the second floor of its boutique.
The French pastry maestro is known for signature macaron flavours like Ispahan, Mogador, and Infiniment Vanille. We’d recommend Ispahan for a balance of sweetness and acidity with rose, lychee, and raspberry. Each macaron is priced at $4 and comes in boxes of four, eight, 12, and 36. The Singapore flagship is also home to the world’s first Pierre Herme Paris Ice Cream Bar, with the three signatures in ice cream form alongside pistachio, matcha, and yoghurt flavours.
Our tip: get there early. We spent a whole day at Weave, but the line for Pierre Herme’s macarons was never-ending. From what we saw, you won’t be allowed to queue after 5.45pm, so plan the macaron flavours you want in advance.
Best for: Famous macarons and ice cream cones
Must tries: Ispahan macaron, Infiniment Vanille macaron
How much: Macarons start from $4, ice cream starts from $6
Opening hours: Daily, 9am to 6pm
Address: Pierre Herme, #01-234, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
6. Standard Bread

Once you spot the giant sliced bread statue with a deadpan expression, you’ll know you’re at Standard Bread. We were greeted with the smell of freshly baked bread as we walked in. Come for the uber soft tissue bread loaves (from $9) in flavours like salted butter and basil tomato.
The bread is perfect on its own, but you can also grab a selection of spreads (from $3). If you’re visiting for the signature Creme Brulee French toast ($19), we recommend getting there ASAP to avoid disappointment. Unsurprisingly, servings of the Creme Brulee French toast have been selling out quickly, so it’s fastest fingers first.
Best for: Golden loaves from a cult-favourite Korean cafe
Must tries: Creme Brulee French toast
How much: Bread loaves start from $9
Opening hours: Daily, 9am to 7.30pm or until sold out; walk-ins only
Address: Standard Bread, #01-229/230, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
7. Din Tai Fung

Din Tai Fung has a special place in our hearts as a reliable Chinese restaurant with piping hot dumplings and deliciously chewy noodles. And now, you can enjoy your fried rice with a masterfully crafted cocktail!
The Weave Singapore location is Asia’s first Din Tai Fung cocktail bar with a small selection of drinks ($30) and bar bites (from $9.80). Those who prefer non-alcoholic selections can visit the tea counter for a variety of artisanal teas. For those treat-yourself moments, we recommend trying the Boston lobster with dry noodles ($39.80), or ordering Oscietre caviar (from $90) to go with your xiao long bao. Now, is it excessive? Maybe. But if given the chance, we’d do it again.
Best for: Classic xiao long bao topped with caviar and served with cocktails
Must tries: Premium lobster dry noodle in chef’s seafood sauce, honey chocolate bun
How much: Mains start from $10.80
Opening hours: Monday to Thursday, 11am to 9pm; Friday, 11am to 9.15pm; Saturday to Sunday, 10.30am to 9.15pm
Address: Din Tai Fung, #02-208/209, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
8. Niku Niku Oh!! Kome

Popular hamburg steak concept Niku Niku Oh!! Kome has launched its first restaurant in Singapore, much to the delight of our hamburg-loving colleagues. Now you won’t have to pay for an air ticket to try this beloved dish.
The teppanyaki-style dining experience had us seated at a bar counter with each patron getting a dedicated teppan. Juicy beef patties are grilled right in front of you, and you can try the hamburg sets in variations like original, cheese, and seasonal avocado tartar. Season with sauces and spices of your choice for the perfect bite.
Best for: A live hamburg experience
Must tries: Cheese hamburg (comes with freshly grated Grana Padano)
How much: Sets start from $16.80
Opening hours: Daily, 11am to 10pm
Address: Niku Niku Oh!! Kome, #01-228, Weave, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098138
9. Senmo Coffee

Pandan lattes, coconut sodas, and coffee mojitos – you can get this all and more at the newly opened Senmo Coffee. The cafe concept is dedicated to Sentosa, from its ocean-inspired architecture to the island magic in each cup. The open space means you won’t be elbowing other patrons when you’re seated in the cafe (thankfully). Any of the iced drinks will hit the spot, especially on a hot afternoon. We found the roselle soda ($6.60) thirst-quenching with the loveliest floral notes.
Best for: A specialty coffee menu celebrating Sentosa
Must tries: Pandan coconut latte, coffee mojito
How much: Specialty coffees start from $6.60
