1. Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

When we think of Ramadan festivities, we always think about Geylang Serai. Besides being a bustling traditional wet market, it’s a social hub that’s steeped in history. The event is split into two areas – Souq City and Street Bazaar.
Start yourself off in Souq City with an abundance of food and drinks. Some highlights to look out for? The Kakak Chicken x Big Big Fries stall for crispy fried chicken and XXL fries covered in sauce. For seafood lovers, grab some sashimi-grade oysters and jumbo scallops grilled to perfection. Wash it all down with the 3-litre chendol bucket or a coconut shake. Then walk off the meal with a stroll through the Street Bazaar. Don’t miss the interactive art installations and a live spray painting sesh by local artist Slac Satu.
