Love trumps all, no matter your sexual orientation, and these events leading up to Pink Dot know what’s up.
Let’s say it together: love is love – no matter your sexual orientation, and everyone has the right to love freely. As we celebrate Pride month and await Pink Dot 2019 (the 11th edition of Pink Dot!) on 29 June, there are plenty of talks, workshops, film screenings and panel discussions leading up to the city’s biggest LGBTQ+-affirming event. So what if the law restricts foreigners from Pink Dot at Hong Lim Park? Take your date to a romantic lunch or dinner followed by one of these events, and discover why pink is so in this month.
RIOT X Pink Fest 2019
Hey, look at that – it’s Singapore’s favourite drag revue and it’s back for a special edition for Pink Fest. Hosted by the vivacious Becca D’Bus at a swanky new venue and a later timing, you can expect a blowout of epic proportions. Drag queens, Vanda Miss Joaquim, Victoria Wondersnatch, Eriana Conda and Arya Dunn will be adding some pizazz to the night.

This workshop by WeWork aims to look at the bigger picture by reinforcing the community’s collective fight for equality. So gather your friends to share your struggles in a safe environment and join in the conversation of finding the common in the LGBTQ+ crew.
