First impressions

Panpuri’s first store in Singapore might be one of the prettiest perfume stores I’ve stepped into in a long time. Decked out in dark wood and hues of deep purple, the store had me relaxing, a feeling I’m not used to. And that’s the power of Panpuri’s perfumes. You can tell instantly that the store has its own signature fragrance. It almost draws you in.
I’m told the store’s design was inspired by Singapore’s national flower – the Vanda Miss Joaquim. Elements of the orchid are seen throughout the store in its colours, the floral displays, and the interactive wall of faux orchids featuring Panpuri’s scents.
The most impressive thing? An Instagram-worthy display of fragrances which sit centre stage within the store. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the orchid displays before landing on the neatly arranged glass bottles in various shapes and sizes. One thing’s for sure: the brand takes its scent game very seriously.
Not your typical perfume brand

While Panpuri establishes itself as a perfume brand, perfumes are simply a medium to translate its bigger mission – wellness. Founder Vorravit Siripark is dedicated to building a brand that highlights Thailand’s brilliant understanding of wellness and its heritage. Ingredients used are all organic, gentle on the skin, and specially chosen for their healing properties.
Typically, when we think of perfumes, we consider their longevity, projection, and what other people perceive when they smell the scent on you. However, Panpuri perfume oils are a little different; they’re meant to serve the user. With minimal sillage, the brand’s fragrances diffuse subtly, focusing on the ultimate goal of personal wellness. So, it’s less about what people think and more about how you’ll benefit from it.
The range of products also impressed me. Beyond perfume oils, sprays, and solid perfumes, Panpuri has a full line of bath and body products, facial cleansers and serums, and even mists and candles for the home.
One aspect of the perfume bottle’s design I found delightful was its use of a glass rod instead of an atomiser. It reminded me of the glass applicators used by haute perfumerie, Henry Jacques – except I don’t have to shell out over $1,800 for that touch of luxury at Panpuri.
Yes, a Panpuri Wellness Singapore is in the works

Getting a massage or spa treatment in Thailand is a must for most tourists. What makes Panpuri the It Girl for Singaporeans is its highly raved spa facilities in Bangkok. But with affordability being a huge draw for Singaporeans visiting Thailand, why would they pay upwards of $200 for a massage?
Panpuri’s luxurious space is adored for its thoughtful service and expert massage therapists. Staff have a unique understanding of the body’s sensitive areas and approach pain points mindfully, aiming to relieve tension without causing pain.
We’re expecting the Singapore location to include popular offerings such as massages, onsen pools, a relaxation lounge, and aromatherapy featuring its signature scents.
Until then, we’ll be shopping through Panpuri Singapore’s store to find our next signature scent.
