One of the world’s best bars is sending its acclaimed bartender and GM, Jeff Bell, to take over Nutmeg and Clove and Tess Bar and Kitchen for two nights only
Cocktail snobs, clear your calendars. PDT (Please Don’t Tell) in New York City is set to take over two bars in Singapore for two nights next week, on 11 and 12 April 2016. Even better: they are sending Jeff Bell, PDT New York’s General Manager and Head Bartender to make drinks for us!
In case you’re wondering why we’re so darn excited, well, PDT is one of the best bars in the world, having been on the list of “World’s 50 Best Bars” since 2011. It’s also one of the most important drinking spots that kickstarted the craft cocktail movement in NYC – then all over the world.
Jeff Bell will be shaking things up at Tess Bar & Kitchen on Monday, 11 April, followed by Nutmeg & Clove on Tuesday, 12 April. The PDT takeovers at these two spots are from 8 to 11pm.
It’s not PDT without the hotdogs (the bar is affixed to a hotdog joint Crif Dogs). Lucky for our tummies, The Establishment (the lifestyle group behind :pluck, Wanton Seng’s Noodle Bar and Nutmeg & Clove) will be serving their own take of PDT’s famed, mouth-watering hotdogs at the takeovers.
PDT pop-ups at Nutmeg and Tess are open to all, be warned: we’re expecting a big crowd. So tell your friends, make a reservation pronto. Call 6337 7355 for Tess Bar & Kitchen on 11 April or 9389 9301 for Nutmeg & Clove on 12 April.
