A rich story awaits

For its first edition, Lion City Faire has adopted the theme, A Symphony of Land and Sea. It showcases Singapore’s vibrant culture as a port city and its role in the greater region filled with stories. It’s an ode to the country’s history celebrated through the lens of fantasy! This can even be seen through the event’s mascot, modelled after our beloved Merlion.
Based on social media posts so far, you can expect a detailed story and intricately built world. After all, the main organiser behind the fair, Eris Lim, is a comic artist. She also brings a wealth of experience, having attended other fantasy events like Renaissance Fair Philippines, and was part of the official cast for The Otherworld Ball, an immersive fantasy ball experience hosted in Singapore.
What to expect

Few details have been released so far. However, based on information we could find, you can expect the Lion City Faire to be similar to other Renaissance fairs you see online, with some added Singaporean twists.
Some potential activities to look forward to include:
- A marketplace with trinkets and food
- International attendees dressed to the nines
- A street cast of characters that add to the immersion
- Live action duels between fair-goers
