More than Wurst: Be Frank is a top dog when it comes to this iconic comfort snack
Some say hotdogs are only relevant when it comes to picnics and barbecues. But say what you will; hotdogs will never run out of fashion if you ask us! Enter Be Frank, homegrown hotdog specialists who recently opened a new grub joint at Paragon Singapore that serves up jazzed up variations of the classic ’dog.
For true hotdog enthusiasts, don’t worry – your sausage will still come in a bun, not in a coconut shell or anything. It’s still the real deal with a plump pork bratwurst as the anchor… then the adventure begins. Choose from the good ol’ Coney’s Island, a fancy take of the Coney dog with diced onions on top of beef cooked in tomato paste, mustard and Worchestershire sauce; to something more offbeat like the Slaw & Order, a juicy, tangy coleslaw stuffed into a hotdog bun. If cheese is your steeze, then choose between the Bac and Cheeze (can’t say no to bacon bits!) and Cheezy Mushroom that are both drenched in melted Raclette cheese.
