Featuring techno DJ, ANNA from Brazil, the promoters behind Headquarters by The Council are throwing a hidden rave near Clarke Quay on 7 January 2017
Unlike the clandestine, don’t-tell-your-folks nature of parties you’ll stumble upon at Headquarters by The Council, our fondness for the rave-hosting venue is no secret. But aside from consistently booking the trendiest in obscure house and techno acts, the peeps behind The Council are also notorious for throwing shindigs in the most bizarre of locations. And kicking off 2017 with a biggie, The Council has yet something more outrageous up its sleeve.
On 7 January, The Council invites you to enter Plastik Dreams, its new pop-up party series that takes the revelry out of its Boat Quay domicile into someplace you’d least expect. With an address merely listed as the basement of an office building at 178 Clemenceau Avenue, this debut edition of Plastik Dreams features an esteemed, badass special guest who will definitely wanna make you go hunting for this rave.
All the way from Brazil, techno trickster, ANNA, helms the decks of this hush-hush party, with thumpers that are both austere and aerodynamic, pumping with a pulse that will keep you swaying ’til dawn. And if industry frontrunners like Christian Smith, Tiga and Solomun are happy to have her on their labels, we’re just as chuffed to have her on our shores and leading the next charge of The Council. Whether you need to pre-drink or take a disco nap beforehand, just make sure you don’t miss this one.
Plastik Dreams presents ANNA, 7 January 2017, 11pm-6am, 178 Clemenceau Avenue, Singapore 239926. Tickets available via this website at $35 (first release), $45 (second release) and $55 (at the door); all are inclusive of one drink.
