Location, location
Situated in the bustling district of Wan Chai, The Hari Hong Kong enjoys a strategic location that puts guests within easy reach of the city’s most popular attractions. Whether I was looking to explore the vibrant local markets, indulge in world-class shopping, or immerse myself in Hong Kong’s vibrant nightlife, The Hari served as an excellent base for my urban adventures.
Furthermore, the hotel offers convenient access to public transportation networks, including the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and tram lines, making it effortless to explore the city and beyond. No matter if you’re a local resident enjoying a staycay, or a tourist eager to discover Hong Kong’s hidden gems, The Hari’s central location ensures that you’re never far from where you want to be!
Style starts here

The Hari Hong Kong boasts a meticulously designed interior that seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with a touch of timeless elegance. From the sleek marble floors to the stunning artworks, every aspect of the hotel exudes sophistication and refinement.
The common areas, such as the lobby and the on-site restaurants (Lucciola and Zoku), provide a welcoming ambience that encourages relaxation and socialising. The Hari’s visually stunning environment is evident in every corner, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a luxurious retreat or Instagram-ready experiences.
Rest easy at The Hari

I stayed in one of the corner rooms that offered amazing views of the city and glimpses of the Victoria Harbour – there’s nothing as impressive as a great, sweeping view for when you’re in the middle of a metropolis. The room was more spacious than most Hong Kong hotel rooms, and the bed was super comfortable… (It may have been the Mühldorfer linens – and I’m a sucker for good linen!) I also loved the amenities by La Bottega which were supplied in reusable bottles, and I was happy seeing bamboo toothbrushes and wooden razors – a big tick in the sustainability box.
From Italian to Japanese, the hotel dining does not disappoint

Breakfast is served in Lucciola, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, with a spread of pastries, cold cuts, cereals, and juices. Guests can also order from the a la carte menu, where you can choose between a variety of savoury and sweet items. The restaurant is so intimate that I had to sit in The Lounge, but with attentive staff and a lovely setting, it was a delightful experience nonetheless. After breakfast, Lucciola showcases authentic Italian cuisine, ranging from traditional pasta to delectable desserts. Apparently, the set lunch here changes every two weeks, so that the dishes always highlights the finest seasonal produce from Italy. If you’re lucky enough to work near the hotel, lunch in Wan Chai is definitely sorted!
For those seeking more innovative flavour combinations, Zoku, the hotel’s contemporary Japanese izakaya, offers a delightful fusion of Japanese and global influences, with a menu featuring the freshest seafood and a wide array of sake. The Honeycombers team and I had a taste of the Executive Set Lunch; the Unagi Rice was one of our firm favourites.
The service is next level

The service at The Hari was absolutely spot-on. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalised assistance throughout my stay, the hotel staff’s attentiveness and professionalism was impressive. The concierge team was on hand to offer me insider tips and recommendations, ensuring that I made the most of my time in Hong Kong.
The Hari Hong Kong stood out to me as a beacon of luxury and stylishness in the heart of the city. From its impeccable design to its prime location, this hotel offered an excellent experience that catered to my needs as a traveller. With exceptional dining options, outstanding service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, The Hari has made my stay in Hong Kong a truly memorable one. For those of you who have yet to visit The Hari Hong Kong (as it only opened in December 2020), this is the sign you’ve been looking for!
