Satisfy your cravings for breakfast anytime at this all-day dining spot with two locations in Singapore. Here’s everything we love about Wild Honey!
As huge foodies, we’re always up to visit a hot new dining destination or try an inventive new cuisine. But despite our taste for culinary adventure, sometimes a comforting meal at one of our favourite restaurants is all we crave. One such dining gem in Singapore we find ourselves returning to is the all-day dining spot, Wild Honey. This dining gem is known for heartwarming brunch and breakfast feasts, but there’s more than meets the eye. Scroll on as we delve into how it made our list of favourites!
Why we love dining at Wild Honey in Singapore
1. Vast selection that takes you from day to night
All-day breakfast and brunch take centre stage here so expect a dazzling array of timeless classics and creative renditions with a twist. Whether you’re coming by in the morning, arvo or evening, you can’t go wrong with the all-time favourites.
Go for the Spanish (a hearty platter of eggs, diced pork chorizo, corned beef, bacon, diced potatoes and signature brioche), I Love NY (creamy scrambled eggs served with a combination of hot and cold smoked salmon and a toasted sesame bagel), as well as Flinder’s Lane, a stunning vegetarian-friendly spread.
Other must-tries include fresh salads, light bites, and indulgent sandwiches featuring crispy streaky bacon, hand-sliced beef pastrami and Yemeni fried chicken. More of a sweet tooth? Look toward irresistible treats like the Belgian (coconut waffles with fresh fruits and coconut cream) and the Brittany (French toast filled with rich chocolate hazelnut).
Complete your meal with a healthy smoothie, beer, cocktail, or cup of tea and coffee – courtesy of partners like Common Man Coffee Roasters, TWG and The Matcha Project.
2. Choose a vibe for every mood
ICYMI: Wild Honey has welcomed a new addition to its family and we’re stoked, to say the least. And nope, it’s not a cookie-cutter version of the flagship store. Each outlet brings a different ambience and mood so you’ll leave with a new experience each time.
Nestled in the luxurious Mandarin Gallery, its flagship store on Orchard Road is no stranger to most. Step inside the vibrant premises and you’ll immediately spot the centrepiece: a showstopping bar made of copper, steel and reclaimed wood, with ample counter seats. Reminiscent of Brooklyn in New York City, the cosy restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows, plush sofas and chairs, and stunning art pieces that will make you feel right at home.
Meanwhile, its stunning new location at Bugis switches things up with a sophisticated yet relaxed charm. This 3,600 sq ft outlet is situated along Middle Road, in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood known for its rich cultural history and architectural gems. Inspired by the laidback So-Cal lifestyle of Los Angeles, the space is decked out with contemporary interiors with retro touches, earthy tones, natural textures, and vibrant pops of colours.
Besides bringing a different vibe with its eclectic interiors, look out for exciting new menu items designed by co-founder Stephanie. We’ve got our eyes on the chopped liver gougeres, the potato, onion and rosemary rosti with smoked salmon, and sauteed chicken livers atop a warm bed of Bramata white polenta…
3. Say hello to sweet deals
Think dining at Wild Honey couldn’t get any better? Think again ‘cos we’ve got intel on some irresistible deals!
Oyster lovers will be pleased as punch to hear about French Oyster Fridays at the Bugis outlet. At $30 for six oysters, it’s your chance to indulge in air-flown oysters from a multi-generation owned farm Cadoret in Brittany, served with unlimited freshly baked baguette and French butter. Pair them with vino handpicked by co-founder Guy and that’s your pre-weekend indulgence sorted.
Come Thursdays through Saturdays, from 4pm to 7pm, Wild Honey Bugis hosts Aperitivo evenings with complimentary Aperitivi plates for every order of a full-priced cocktail or wine.
Can’t get enough of the tipples? Drop by any of the outlets from 4pm to 7pm daily for the Happy Hour promotion, and snag cocktails and aperitifs at $12++ each. Free-flowing options are also available. At $60++ per pax, toast to bottomless prosecco, or red or white wine for 90 whole minutes. How’s that for a delicious bargain?
4. Imaginative and innovative delicacies
Besides being a hot favourite for brunch classics, Wild Honey is also known for innovative dishes that keep things creative. Curious where this menu inspiration comes from? Here’s the answer: the founders’ ardent love for travel and passion for all things breakfast.
In case you didn’t know, the brainchild behind this leading dining gem is husband-wife duo, Guy Wachs and Stephanie Hancock. The menu draws inspiration from their travels all over the globe, as well as the diverse cultures from destinations including Tunisia, New York, Sydney and Paris. Expect a varied selection made with top-quality ingredients, fresh herbs and spices. And of course, stellar presentations that are almost too pretty to eat.
5. Well-loved dining spot for 15 years and counting
Here’s one last fun fact: Wild Honey has been dishing out delectable offerings since 2009. The founders set out to deliver gorgeous dishes to start your day on the right foot – and Wild Honey still remains a cherished spot among many Singaporeans today. Coupled with its commitment to using superior ingredients and superb hospitality, we’ll be rooting for its success for another 15 years and more.
