The former French Vogue editor teams up with the Japanese retailer for an haute, new fashion collection
Just when you thought the only thing UNIQLO had up its sleeves for this season was the Lemaire collection, the Japanese retail giant gets us all excited (again) with their upcoming collaboration with Carine Roitfeld.
With the Carine Roitfeld x Uniqlo collection, the founder of CR Fashion Book and former editrix of Vogue Paris can now add designer to her impressive list of achievements. And without a doubt, items from this collaboration will be flying off shelves because true to Roitfeld’s personal style, they will be sexy, sultry, and criminally chic. What’s not to love?

Personally designed by Roitfeld and overseen by UNIQLO’s design director Naoki Takizawa, the 40-piece collection will range from stylish outerwear to stylish separates like silk shirts, flimsy camisoles, pencil skirts, and tailored cigarette pants.
According to Roitfeld herself: “I started from the idea of clothes that I would want to wear myself, and developed this into clothes that anyone would want to wear, a woman’s ideal of clothes that make her feel transformed when she wears them.”

Keep an eye out for the Carine Roitfeld x UNIQLO collection, which will hit stores later this month.
