Love indulging in crabs, oysters and the like? Check out the inaugural Sustainable Seafood Festival and find out how you can play a part in protecting our seafood supply.
This might shock you, but our little island consumes a staggering amount of seafood – 140 million kilos to be exact – every year. That’s why non-profit organisation World Wide Fund for Nature Singapore (WWF) is partnering with 32 restaurants all around Singas to offer up sustainable seafood promos. Indochine, Absinthe and Mezza9 are just some of the restos participating.
Check out WWF’s roving marine roadshows, talks and exhibitions during the festival, and download this useful seafood guide to find out if what you’re buying at the market is sustainable.
