From decadent Christmas dinners to dim sum brunches to New Year’s Eve offerings, Pan Pacific Singapore is going all out this year.
You know the year-end festivities are around the corner when holiday tunes ring in the air, glittering decorations light up the streets, and hotels everywhere entice you with extravagant feasts. One of our faves? Pan Pacific Singapore: its Christmas dining experiences are second to none, covering everything from traditional buffets and afternoon tea nibbles to Cantonese delicacies and takeaway goodies. Just sit back, relax and dine your way through the hotel’s exquisite offerings.
The finest festive dining in town
Want a classic Christmas spread? Soak in the Yuletide cheer at Edge with highlights like roasted mustard-rubbed beef prime ribs and foie gras slider with passion fruit apple chutney, chive cream fraiche and brioche bun. The restaurant’s festive buffet lunch and dinner (from $75 per adult) offer everything from seafood on ice and Peranakan plates to herb-roasted turkey and honey-glazed gammon ham. If you’re popping by for weekend brunch (from $88 per adult), you’ll enjoy all that alongside grilled meats and lovely Christmas sweets.
If you’re taking the day off work, treat yourself to a blissful afternoon tea experience at Atrium (from $48 per diner) with your loved one. Relaxing while everyone else is hard at work: the best feeling ever. Nibbles on the menu include Norwegian smoked salmon cereal bread and hazelnut yuzu gateau. You can also opt for the meat-free route! Everything’s paired with cups of TWG Tea Christmas brews or Bacha Coffee drinks.
At Hai Tien Lo, the festivities get an oriental twist with a six-course menu (from $98 per diner) that spotlights Cantonese dishes. Try stand-outs like deep-fried crispy aubergine with foie gras in Szechuan spicy gong bo sauce, and wok-fried diced Austrian M9 wagyu beef with portobello mushroom. Oh, and if you love the free-flow dim sum brunch ($98 per adult), you’ll want to make a date at the restaurant for its festive editions on Christmas and New Year weekends.
Done with the endless turkey and ham dishes? Head to Keyaki for a different spin on the Yuletide season. The winter set lunch and dinner selections (from $65 per diner) feature gozen, bento and kaiseki creations, with dishes such as deep-fried snow crab and vegetables.
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate the New Year, head here for a Kaiseki set menu ($208 per diner) of toro, amberjack, flatfish and sweet shrimp sashimi. Toast to 2022 with unlimited glasses of champagne, beer, sake, and wine at brunch! Oh, and for NYE dinner, you can participate in Kagami Biraki, a sake barrel breaking ceremony, and sip on a complimentary glass of sake.
