We love entrepreneurs and small business owners at Honeycombers, which is why we’ve created Launchpad, a networking platform (with IRL benefits, too) that encourages connection, business support and community. It is designed to make the entrepreneurial journey not only easier—and more successful—but also a whole lot more fun! The comprehensive digital platform offers almost daily activities for members to connect, along with regular masterclasses, member networking roulette, small-business mentoring and media profiles on Honeycombers.
Introducing Launchpad
The Launchpad networking platform offering is the first business community group targeting entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and Singapore, offering both a local market and pan-Asian approach to community connection.
The platform is inspired by the growing international trend of people joining digital-first community membership groups, as a result of COVID-19 and the increasing need for connection, networking and support for entrepreneurs.
Founder of Honeycombers and Launchpad, Chris Edwards (she/her) shares: “I know personally how hard it is to start a company and find a business community, business mentors and key business resources as a start-up entrepreneur. There is so much on-the-job learning (read: learning the hard way). Launchpad is everything I would have wanted in my first five years of operation. I hope that with this new community platform we can reduce stress, increase community, and support entrepreneurs to achieve their daring ambitions.”
A rising tide lifts all boats
Being an entrepreneur can be lonely and isolating, which is something Chris knows firsthand from launching Honeycombers 13 years ago in Singapore: “When I started Honeycombers, I had a dream, a laptop and a mission. It was a lonely, stressful and relentlessly challenging road. Looking back now, I wish I had found a tribe of like-minded entrepreneurs that I could have leaned on as a sounding board, knowledge base, and cheer squad.”
The heart and soul of the Launchpad community are the 30 founders members who share the platform’s mission that rising a tide lifts all boats. Some of the Launchpad founding members include:
