Get your croissant, baguette, and pastry fix here! Serving up authentic French flavours, artisanal bakery Maison Kayser reopens near Orchard Road
You’ve probably guessed by now that here at Honeycombers HQ we have a slight obsession with all things French. Be it French restaurants, Parisian style chic, or Champagne by the bucket load; we love it all! So forgive us for getting a tad over excited upon learning Maison Kayser – purveyor of divine baguettes, croissants, patisserie, and a myriad of other divine French goodies – has finally returned to its super swish home in Scotts Square. Hell yes.
Serving up (arguably) some of the finest bread in Singapore, we are huge fans of its artisanal approach towards baking. What makes its bread so special? We reckon the selected flours, natural leaven, natural fermentation, and fresh baking definitely have something to do with it! The variety of breads available range from traditional french creations (like sourdough, rye, and monge) to international loaves such as Italian ciabatta, Japanese Pain de mie, and even Turkish ekmek. A carb overload is inevitable, brace yourself.

Save some space for the sweet stuff; the array of pastries whipped up here are the perfect accompaniment to that mid-afternoon cuppa. From eclairs and rainbow-hued macarons, to lemon, chocolate, or pistachio filled tarts. We defy anyone who could say to no to one of these sweet treats.
We’re also fans of the authentic bites being served up daily; think delish sandwiches, salads, tartines, and more! Whether you’re eating in or taking away, this is a little slice of France not to be missed.
